Ramshurst Heath is referred to in the Manor Court Rolls as where the 'croft called Newins' lies near. Newins was situated on the south side of Bisley Green near to where it meets Polled Oak Slade.

It is therefore likely that Ramshurst Heath was another name for Polled Oak Slade.
