Lavender Farm was situated on the corner where Church Lane enters Bisley Green. In the Tithe Award the 'house & garden' was measured at 2 roods and 23 perches.

Lavender Farm was held, freehold, by John Hone, When he died in 1768, John Hone left all his property to his grandson, Joseph Bell living in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

Joseph Bell died in 1811, by this time resident in Chobham.

The farm was sold for £4,725 to The National Refuge for Homeless and Destitute Children. The then dilapidated farmhouse was demolished, and the Refuge Farm School, which opened in 1867, built on the site.
