Hongers was an arable field of about one and a half acres, situated on the north-eastern side of Church Lane, on the apex of the sharp bend adjacent to Burcroft Common field. In the Tithe Award it was measured at 1 acre 3 roods and 16 perches; described on the OS map as 1.88 acres.
