Further Brook was a meadow, of about an acre and a half, situated on the north-west edge of the parish, close to Bullrowzen Farm. In the Tithe Award it was measured at 1 acre 1 rood and 17 perches.

Further Brook was one of the fields associated with Bull Rowzen Farm. In the mid-eighteenth century, Bullrowzen Farm was owned by George Rempnant. When he died in 1774, he left it to his son-in-law John Street. John Street died in 1787 and Bullrowzen passed to his son, Henry; Henry in turn died in 1803 and Bullrowzen passed to his son, James.

James Street sold Bullrowzen in 1839, to George Marshall for £450. At the time the farm and associated lands were measured at thirty-four acres two roods and six perches. When George died in 1854, the farm passed to his wife, Sarah. In 1873, Sarah sold the farm, now measured at thirty-five acres three roods and thirteen perches, for £230 to Edward Esdale Clark and Marshall Pontifex.

In 1904, Marshall Pontifex sold his portion of the farm (the farmhouse and lands of just over 21 acres, including Further Brook) to Roderic Bryant Shearburn for the sum of five shillings.
