Elmfield House is situated at the southern corner of Bisley Green.  On the 1919 OS map the plot in which it sat was measured at 0.423 acres.

The house was built about 1900. For a short time around 1915 it housed the local Post Office; G Whitehorn was the sub-postmaster.

As of 2017 Elmfield House was a residential care home.
