Geoffrey was aged 17 at the time of his father's death in 1285. He married Desiderée (or Desiderata), daughter of William de Leybourne, by Juliane de Sandwich. Geoffrey sold Bisley Manor, along with Byfleet, in 1294 to his brother-in-law Henry de Leybourne.
