At a Special Court Baron of The Right Honorable William Hillier Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor held for the said Manor on Friday the twenty ninth day of October in the forty fourth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty Before Frederic Ferdinand Smallpeice Gentleman Steward there.

Absolute Surrender James Rempnant Searle to Nathaniel Cook the Younger
At this Court came here into Court Nathaniel Cook the Younger of the Abbey Mills Chertsey in the County of Surrey Esquire by John Hallett White his Attorney and delivered to the said Steward a certain absolute Surrender taken out of Court and since the last general Court to wit on the twenty sixth day of October One thousand eight hundred and eighty Whereby James Rempnant Searle of Bisley in the County of Surrey Farmer one of the Customary tenants of this Manor in consideration of Five hundred and seventy pounds to the said James Rempnant Searle paid by the said Nathaniel Cook the younger did surrender into the hands of the Lord by the acceptance of the said Steward according to the custom of the said Manor All that Messuage or Tenement with the edifices buildings barn stable garden and orchard thereunto belonging And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Orchard Field and containing by estimation two acres And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Ford Mead and containing by estimation three acres and a half And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Coneybury Field containing by estimation three acres all which said hereditaments and premises are situate lying and being in the Parish of Bisley within the said Manor and to which the said James Rempnant Searle was admitted tenant on the twentieth day of August One thousand eight hundred and seventy nine To the Use of the said Nathaniel Cook the younger and his heirs according to the custom of the said Manor at the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed
Admittance of Nathaniel Cook the Younger
And thereupon at this Court upon the final proclamation came here into Court the said Nathaniel Cook the younger by the said John Hallett White his Attorney and humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to All that the said Messuage or Tenement with the edifices buildings barn stable garden and orchard thereunto belonging And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Orchard Field and containing by estimation two acres And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Ford Mead and containing by estimation three acres and a half And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Coneybury Field containing by estimation three acres all which said hereditaments and premises are situate lying and being in the Parish of Bisley within the said Manor in pursuance of the said Surrender To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin by the rod To hold to the said Nathaniel Cook the younger heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of three shillings and three pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so the said Nathaniel Cook the younger was by his said Attorney admitted tenant of the said premises accordingly Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appears in the margin [£37 10s] had seizin by the rod and his fealty was respited.
