A View of frankpledge with a General Court Baron of The Right Honorable Arthur George Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor there held in and for the said Manor on Thursday the twenty fourth day of October in the fourth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord William the fourth by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the faith And in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty three Before Joseph Hockley the elder Gentleman Steward there.

Admittance of Sarah Eacott
At this Court upon the second Proclamation came here into Court in her proper person Sarah Eacott Spinster and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to four several pieces of Land containing together by estimation one acre more or less part of four acres of land lying in the Common field called Widecroft within this Manor One of which said four pieces of Land abuts on the West Part to Land now or late of William Smith on the East to the Land of the Devisees of Joseph Bell on the North to Land now or late of James Loveland and on the South to Land now or late of Mrs Geale One other of the said Pieces of Land abuts on Lands of the Devisees of Joseph Bell on the West and North and to the Lands now or late of Mrs Geale on the East and South One other of the said Pieces of Land abuts on Lands now or late of Mrs Geale on the West East and South parts and on Lands of the Devisees of Joseph Bell on the North And the other Piece of Land abuts on the Lands now or late of Mrs Geale on the West to inclosed Land now or late of James Loveland on the South to Land of the Devisees of Joseph Bell on the North and to Land now or late of Ann Waterer on the West Which came into the Hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Surrender of John Edwards To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Sarah Eacott her heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly apportioned rent of two pence Heriot when it shall happen suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin [£1 1s] and her fealty was pardoned.

Conditional Surrender James Street to William Fibbens
The Homage aforesaid being sworn and charged on their Oath present a certain Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court in the words following to wit “Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey – Be it Remembered that on the twenty seventh day of August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty one James Street of Bisley in the County of Surrey Farmer one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor out of Court and in consideration of the Sum of four hundred pounds of lawful Money of the United Kingdom Great Britain and Ireland of English value and currency to him the said James Street in hand well and truly paid by William Fibbens the elder of Guildford in the said County of Surrey Victualler Hath surrendered and by these presents Doth surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the said Steward and according to the custom of the said Manor All that Croft of Land called Bullrowson and three Crofts of Land and one Brook formerly parcel of a Tenement of Simon Butlers parcel of the Customary Lands of this Manor with the appurtenances and all Buildings and edifices thereupon erected held by the yearly rent of _________ Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs (to which said hereditaments and premises with others the said James Street was admitted Tenant at a General Court Baron holden in and for the said Manor on the tenth day of June One thousand eight hundred and three on the death of his Father Henry Street) And the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof And also all the estate right title interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever of him the said James Street of into or out of the same premises and every part and parcel thereof  To the only proper and absolute use and behoof of the said William Fibbens his heirs and assigns for ever according to the custom of the said Manor Provided always and upon this condition nevertheless to be void if the said James Street his heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said William Fibbens his executors administrators or assigns the full sum and just Sum of four hundred pounds together with lawful Interest for the same after the rate of five pounds for every One hundred pounds for a Year of lawful money of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland of English value and currency upon the twenty seventh day of February next ensuing the date hereof without any deduction or abatement to be made or taken out of the same on any account whatsoever and without fraud or further delay Then this Surrender to be void and of no effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue – James Street This Surrender was taken the day and year first above written By the acceptance of me Joseph Hockley Steward – Received on the day and year first above written of and from the above named William Fibbens the Sum of four hundred pounds being the consideration Money above mentioned to be paid by him to me – James Street – Witness Joseph Hockley - £400”
[Margin note: Be it remembered that on the seventeenth day of January One thousand eight hundred and thirty nine William Fibbens the elder in this Surrender named did acknowledge that he had that day received of and from James Street in this Surrender also named All Principal and Interest Monies secured by and due upon and by virtue of this Surrender and in full satisfaction and discharge thereof  And the said William Fibbens did by writing under his hand of that date authorise and empower the Steward of this Manor to enter his acknowledgement of having received the same and such Satisfaction on the Court Rolls or Books of the said Manor accordingly.  Witness my Hand  Joseph Hockley Steward.]

Conditional Surrender John Tyler to Thomas Mellersh and Edward Collins
The Homage also present a certain other Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court in the words following to wit “Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey – Be it Remembered that on the twenty fourth day of September in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty one John Tyler of Bisley in the County of Surrey Farmer one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor did surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and acceptance of Joseph Hockley Gentleman Steward of the Courts of the said Manor according to the custom of the same Manor All that the scite of one Cottage and fourteen rods of Land by estimation more or less and one parcel of Land called the Common Plot containing by estimation one quarter of an acre lying near Knaphill in Bisley And also all that the Scite of one Messuage or Cottage and certain Customary Lands to the same belonging containing by estimation one acre or thereabouts with the appurtenances in Bisley And all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of him the said John Tyler of into or out of the said Copyhold hereditaments and premises and every part thereof  To the only use and behoof of Thomas Mellersh of Godalming in the said County of Surrey Gentleman and Edward Collins of Richmond in the said County of Surrey Brewer their heirs and assigns for ever according to the custom of the said Manor Subject nevertheless  to the proviso or Condition hereinafter contained (that is to say) Provided always and upon this condition nevertheless that if the said John Tyler his heirs executors administrators or assigns or any or either of them do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Thomas Mellersh and Edward Collins their executors administrators or assigns the full Sum of four hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain with Interest for the same after the rate of five pounds for every One hundred pounds for one Year upon the tenth day of March now next ensuing without fraud or further delay and without making any deduction or abatement out of the same for or on account of any manner of taxes payments or impositions or any other matter cause or thing whatsoever (being the same principal money and interest as are secured or intended so to be by two several Indentures the one bearing date the tenth day of September instant and made between the said John Tyler of the first part James Waterer Yeoman of the second part and the said Thomas Mellersh and Edward Collins of the third part and the other bearing date the twelfth of September instant and made between the said John Tyler of the one part and the said Thomas Mellersh and Edward Collins of the other part)  Then this Surrender to be void and of no effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue – John  Tyler Taken the day and year first above written by and before me Joseph Hockley Stew.d – In the presence of Ja.s Limbert Clerk to Mess.rs Mellersh & Marshall Sol.rs Godalming
[Margin note: Be it remembered that on the first day of November One thousand eight hundred and Forty four Thomas Mellersh and Edward Collins in this Surrender named did acknowledge that All Principal and Interest Monies due on or secured by the said Surrender had been paid off and discharged  And the said Thomas Mellersh and Edward Collins did by writing under their hands of that date authorize and impower the Steward of this Manor to enter such their acknowledgement of Satisfaction on the Court Rolls of the said Manor and to discharge vacate and make void the said Surrender accordingly.  Witness my Hand  Joseph Hockley Steward.]

 

Absolute Surrender William Walker to James Gyles
The Homage also present a certain other Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court to wit On the fifth day of November One thousand eight hundred and thirty two whereby William Walker of Bisley in the County of Surrey farmer One of the Copyhold or Customary tenants of the said Manor in consideration of the Sum of Sixty two pounds to him paid by James Gyles of Bisley aforesaid Brickmaker did surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the Steward of the said Manor according to the custom thereof All those two Acres of Land part of a parcel of Land called Miles Grove within this Manor  and which said two acres of land adjoin Port Lane on the East the Copyhold Land of William Walden called Wheat Leaz on the West  two acres other part of Miles Grove heretofore surrendered by James Living to the Use of James Steadman on the North and to an acre other part of Miles Grove heretofore surrendered by the said James Living to the use of James Steadman and another acre part of Miles Grove also heretofore surrendered by the said James Living to the use of James Steadman on the South To the only proper and absolute use and behoof of the said James Gyles his heirs and assigns for ever 
Admittance of James Gyles
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came here into Court in his proper person the said James Gyles and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to the said two acres of Land part of a parcel of Land called Miles Grove within this Manor in pursuance of the said Surrender  To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said James Gyles his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly apportioned rent of One Penny Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so he was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such his admittance as appears in the Margin[£3 6s] and his fealty was respited.
Conditional Surrender James Gyles to Charles Howard
And afterwards at this Court Came here into Court in his proper person the said James Gyles and (in consideration of the Sum of fifty pounds of lawful Money of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland current in Great Britain to him paid by Charles Howard of Chobham in the County of Surrey Grocer) surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid according to the custom of the same Manor All those the said two acres of Land part of a parcel of Land called Miles Grove within this Manor to which the said James Gyles had at this Court before been admitted  To the only Use and behoof of the said Charles Howard his heirs and assigns for ever Upon Condition nevertheless to be void if the said James Gyles his heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Charles Howard his executors administrators or assigns the full Sum of fifty pounds of lawful money aforesaid with lawful Interest of lawful money aforesaid on the twenty fourth day of April now next ensuing

Absolute Surrender Thomas Eacott to John Robinson
The Homage also present a certain other Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court to wit On the twenty second day of June One thousand eight hundred and thirty three whereby Thomas Eacott of Bisley in the County of Surrey Husbandman one of the Copyhold or Customary tenants of the said Manor in consideration of the Sum of Sixty pounds to him paid by John Robinson of Bisley aforesaid Cordwainer did surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the Steward of the said Manor according to the custom thereof All that Customary Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances together with the edifices buildings garden orchard and curtilage to the said Messuage or Tenement belonging (except about forty rods Parcel of the said Garden lately sold and surrendered by the said Thomas Eacott to John Daborn situate lying and being in Bisley Green in the Parish of Bisley aforesaid abutting on the said Green on the South North and East parts heretofore in the occupation of George Slyfield late of Floyd and then of the said Thomas Eacott  To the only proper and absolute use and behoof of the said John Robinson his heirs and assigns for ever  
Admittance of John Robinson
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came here into Court in his proper person the said John Robinson and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to the said Customary Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances together with the edifices buildings garden orchard and curtilage to the said Messuage or Tenement belonging in pursuance of the said Surrender  To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof  by the rod  To hold to the said John Robinson his Heirs and Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so he was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  The fine to the Lord for such his admittance was set at Six pounds to be paid to the Steward aforesaid at the Public House called the Hen and Chickens in Bisley aforesaid for the use of the Lord of the said Manor on Monday the twenty fifth day of November next between the Hours of ten and twelve o’Clock in the forenoon and his fealty was respited.

Death of Arthur Harden
The Homage also present that Arthur Harden one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to him and his heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement with all the Lands to the same belonging in Bisley aforesaid by the yearly rent of two pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services And also all that one parcel of Customary Heathy Lands called Feets containing by estimation three acres more or less with the appurtenances lying in Bisley aforesaid by the yearly rent of Eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services died since the last Court so thereof severally seised Whereupon two Heriots to wit the two best live Beasts of the said Arthur Harden became due to the Lord of this Manor but that none were seized he not having any live Animal at the time of his decease
His Will
And the Homage further present that the said Arthur Harden in and by his last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date the ninth day of August One thousand eight hundred and twenty seven (the Probate whereof was now produced and read in open Court) After devising unto his Grandson Abraham Honnor a certain freehold Estate and to his Daughter Harriett Honnor another Estate in fee gave and devised as follows “I give and devise unto my said Daughter all and singular the rest and residue of my real Estates Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments both freehold and Copyhold situate lying and being in the Counties of Middlesex and Surrey or elsewhere To hold to her for and during the Term of her natural life And from and after her decease I give and devise the said real Estates unto my four Grandchildren (the Children of my said Daughter) Viz.t the said Abraham and Ann Harden and Harriett Honnor equally between and amongst them and to their respective heirs and assigns as Tenants in Common thereof and in case of the deaths of any one or more of my said Grandchildren under the Age of twenty one Years then I give and devise the share estate and interest of him her or them so dying of and in my said Estates unto the survivors or Survivor equally and in fee simple”
Admittance of Harriet Honnor
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came here into Court in her proper person the said Harriett Honnor and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to all that the said Copyhold Messuage or Tenement with all the Lands to the same belonging in Bisley aforesaid which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Arthur Harden To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Harriett Honnor and her Assigns for and during the Term of her natural life by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of two pence - Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£21] and her fealty was pardoned.
Admittance of the same
Also at this Court upon the first proclamation came here into Court in her proper person the said Harriett Honnor and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to all that the said one parcel of Customary Heathy Lands called Feets containing by estimation three acres (more or less) with the appurtenances lying in Bisley aforesaid which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Arthur Harden To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the rod  To hold to the said Harriett Honnor and her Assigns for and during the Term of her natural life by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of eight pence - Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£7] and her fealty was pardoned.

Death of William Steer
The Homage also present that William Steer one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor who held for the term of his natural life by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor One Messuage Garden and Orchard and the Land thereto belonging with the appurtenances formerly in the occupation of John Snelling afterwards of James Martin since of Richard Daborn and now or late of Stephen Collyer by the yearly rent of four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services Died since the last Court Whereupon an Heriot to wit the two best Beast of the said William Steer became due to the Lord of this Manor And that a Sow was seized and compounded for with the Executors at two pounds and two shillings And that upon the death of the said William Steer the said premises descended to Elizabeth the Wife of William Woods her heirs and assigns for ever under and by virtue of the Will of Sarah the late Wife of the said William Steer as presented at a General Court Baron holden in and for this Manor on the twenty sixth day of October One thousand eight hundred and twenty four
Admittance of Elizabeth the Wife of William Woods
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came her into Court in her proper person the said Elizabeth the Wife of the said William Woods and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to the said Messuage Garden and Orchard and the Lands thereto belonging with the appurtenances which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Steer To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Elizabeth the Wife of the said William Woods her heirs Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£10] and her fealty was pardoned.

Death of William Loveland
The Homage also present that William Loveland one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to him and his heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor All that Customary Messuage or Tenement with the Orchard formerly in the tenure of Philip Roberts and one Close of Land to the same belonging containing by estimation one acre more or less one acre of land more or less in Neltro with the appurts by the yearly rent of three pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services All that Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances called Whichoode and one close of Land adjoining by estimation one acre lying in Bisley aforesaid by the yearly rent of Eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services All that parcel of Arable Land in the Common field called Neltro in Bisley by estimation one acre more or less and half an Acre of Meadow in Churchburne Mead with the appurts in Bisley by the yearly Rent of Eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services All that Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances called Whichoode and one close of Land adjoining by estimation one acre lying in Bisley aforesaid by the yearly Rent of three pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services Two acres of Land and half an Acre of Land more or less lying in the Common field called Neltro and two Acres of Land and half an acre of land lying in the Common field called Widecroft in the said Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services And also all that one Close of Customary Arable Land late Wood Land containing by estimation two acres more or less and two acres of Land more or less lying in the common field called Northhill by the yearly Rent of Six pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services Died since the last Court so thereof severally seised Whereupon five Heriots to wit the five best live Beasts of the said William Loveland became due to the Lord of this Manor but that none were seized he not having any live Animal at the time of his decease
His Will
And the Homage further present that the said William Loveland duly made his last Will and Testament in Writing bearing date the first day of May One thousand eight hundred and thirty three (the Probate whereof was now produced and read in open Court) and thereby gave devised and bequeathed unto his dear Wife Jane Loveland and her heirs All and every his Freehold and Copyhold Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever the same might be situate lying and being to which he was or might be entitled whether in possession reversion remainder or expectancy or otherwise howsoever To have and to hold the same unto and to the Use of his said Wife Jane Loveland her heirs and assigns for ever
Admittance of Jane Loveland
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came her into Court in her proper person the said Jane Loveland and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to All that the said Customary Messuage or Tenement with the Orchard formerly in the tenure of Philip Roberts and one Close of Land to the same belonging containing by estimation one acre more or less one acre of land more or less in Neltro with the appurtenances which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Loveland To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Jane Loveland her heirs Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of ten pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£4 10s] and her fealty was pardoned.
Admittance of the same
Also at this Court upon the first proclamation came her into Court in her proper person the said Jane Loveland and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to All that parcel of Arable Land in the Common field called Neltro in Bisley by estimation one acre more or less and half an Acre of Meadow in Churchburne Mead with the appurtenances in Bisley which also came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Loveland To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Jane Loveland her heirs Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of Eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£2 10s] and her fealty was pardoned.

Also at this Court upon the first proclamation came her into Court in her proper person the said Jane Loveland and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to All that Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances called Whichoode and one close of Land adjoining by estimation one acre lying in Bisley aforesaid which also came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Loveland To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Jane Loveland her heirs Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of three pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£3] and her fealty was pardoned.
Admittance of the same
Also at this Court upon the first proclamation came her into Court in her proper person the said Jane Loveland and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to the said two acres of Land and half an Acre of Land more or less lying in the Common field called Neltro and two Acres of Land and half an acre of land lying in the Common field called Widecroft in the said Manor of Bisley which also came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Loveland To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Jane Loveland her heirs Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£9] and her fealty was pardoned.
Admittance of the same
Also at this Court upon the first proclamation came her into Court in her proper person the said Jane Loveland and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to All that one Close of Customary Arable Land late Wood Land containing by estimation two acres more or less and two acres of Land more or less lying in the common field called Northhill which also came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Loveland To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Jane Loveland her heirs Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of Six pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid  Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin[£8] and her fealty was pardoned.

Death of Henry Hill
The Homage also present that Henry Hill one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to him and his heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor The several parts and parcels hereinafter mentioned and described of All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement called Radsells Grove with the Barn Buildings Orchards Gardens and all the Lands thereto belonging with the appurtenances containing by estimation five acres more or less in the Parish of Bisley late in the occupation of William Slaughter and since of John Hill that is to say the North end of the said Messuage a small piece of Ground before it half the Barn half the Yard South end and Garden behind the Barn two plots of Ground the West side against the other a Road to it from the Yard about two and half acres (more or less) Also the Hogsty against the Common by the yearly rent of One penny by apportionment Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services Died since the last Court so thereof versed Whereupon there became due to the Lord of this Manor for an Heriot the best live Beast of the said Henry Hill but nothing was seized he not having any live Animal at the time of his death
His Will
And the Homage further present that the said Henry Hill fully made and published his last Will and Testament in Writing (which was now produced and read in open Court) in the words following “I Henry Hill of Bisley in the County of Surrey Husbandman Do hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare these presents only to be and contain my last Will and Testament  I give devise and bequeath unto my dear Wife Mary Hill All that my Copyhold Messuage or Tenement Barn Buildings Garden Lands and hereditaments situate lying and being within and holden of the Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey And all other my real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever To have and to hold the same unto and to the Use of her my said Wife Mary Hill her heirs and assigns for ever And I also give and bequeath unto her my said dear Wife Mary Hill for her own Use and benefit All my personal Estate and Effects of every sort and kind Subject nevertheless to the payment of my just Debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expenses And I do hereby nominate constitute and Appoint my said dear Wife Mary Hill sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Henry Hill the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty – The Mark of  X  Henry Hill, Signed Sealed Published and declared by the above named Henry Hill the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses – William Woods Horsell Surrey farmer James Steptoe Bisley Surrey  Stephen Steptoe Bisley Surrey  
1st Proclamation
Now at this Court the first proclamation was made for the said Mary Hill or any other person or persons who hath or have a right to be admitted to the said several parts and parcels of the said Copyhold Messuage or Tenement Buildings Orchards gardens and lands called Radsells Grove which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Henry Hill to come into Court and take the same out of the hands of the Lord of this Manor but no one came Whereupon the first proclamation and default are here  nrolled

Incroachment of Thomas Eacott
The Homage also present that Thomas Eacott hath encroached upon the Waste of this Manor in Bisley Green by inclosing about twenty rods of land and building a Cottage thereon.
Incroachment of William Cobbett
The Homage also present that William Cobbett hath encroached upon the Waste of this Manor at Stavork Lake by inclosing about forty rods of land and building a Cottage thereon.
Incroachment of James Hill
The Homage also present that James Hill hath encroached upon the Waste of this Manor at Riding Hill by inclosing a parcel of land and building a Cottage thereon.
Consent to the Lords granting the said Incroachments
And the Homage aforesaid and also the several other Tenants of this Manor here present do now at this Court consent and agree that the Lord of the Manor may make such Grants of the several encroachments above presented for such estates and upon such terms as he may think proper.
