Be it Remembered that on the Twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Seven William Stovell of Bisley in the County of Surrey Yeoman One of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor personally came before Thomas Sibthorpe Gentleman Deputy of John Chandler Gentleman Chief Steward of the said Manor And Surrendered by the Rod into the Hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Acceptance of the said Deputy Steward according to the Custom of the said Manor One parcel of Land called Loompitts containing by Estimation Six Acres be the same more or less in the said Parish and Manor of Bisley held by the Yearly Rent of Four Pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right Accustomed To the only Use and Behoof of Charles Bartholomew of the Parish of Chobham in the said County Yeoman his Heirs and Assigns forever Provided always and upon this condition Nevertheless if the said William Stovell his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Charles Bartholomew his Executors or Administrators the full Sum of Sixty Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain together with lawful Interest for the same upon the Twentieth day of April next ensuing the date hereof without any Deduction to be made or taken out of the same on any account whatsoever Then this Surrender shall be Void or else remain in full force and Virtue.
