The Homage Present That Thomas Loveland of Chobham in the said County Yeoman one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor did out of Court and since the last Court to wit on the Seventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward All and every the customary and Copyhold Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments with their several and respective appurtenances of the said Thomas Loveland situate lying and being within and held by Copy of Court Roll of the said Manor To the use and Behoof of such person or persons and for such Estate or Estates therein and under and subject to such Charges Conditions and directions as the said Thomas Loveland should in or by his last Will and Testament in Writing or any Writing purporting to be his last Will and Testament Give Devise Limit or appoint the same and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever

The Homage also Present That Edward Hippisley of Isleworth in the County of Middlesex Esquire one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor did out of Court and since the last Court to wit on the fourth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward All his Copyhold Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments with their several and respective appurts within and holden of the s.d Manor To the use and Behoof of such person or Persons for such Estate or Estates and under and Subject to such Directions Charges and Restrictions and as the said Edward Hippisley should in or by his last Will and Testament in Writing or any Writing purporting so to be Give Devise Limit or appoint the same and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever

The Homage also Present That John Carman of Bisley in the County of Surrey Taylor one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor did out of Court and since the last Court to wit on the fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward All that Cottage or Tenement with all the Lands thereunto belonging Containing by Estimation One acre and an half or thereabouts then late in the occupation of John Crouch and then of the said John Carman To the use and Behoof of Richard Bedford of Worplesdon in the said County of Surrey Carpenter his heirs and assigns for ever under a Condition nevertheless for making void the said Surrender if the said John Carman his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns should and did well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Richard Bedford his Executors or Administrators the full Sum of Thirteen Pounds together with lawful Interest for the same of lawful Money of Great Britain upon the fourth day of November next ensuing the date thereof without any deduction to be made or taken out of the same on any account whatsoever.

the twenty third day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward by the Rod according to the Custom of the said Manor All that Tenement with a Barn Edifices Gardens and appurts to the same belonging and two parcels of land called Brook ground lying together containing by Estimation three acres formerly the Lands of William Claverley and since of the Earl of Aylesford Situate lying and being in the parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of two Shillings Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Also all that one Meadow called Little Mead by estimation one Acre and an half with the appurtenances formerly the land of the said William Claverley and since of the Earl of Aylesford in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly rent of four pence Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Also all those two closes of land by estimation two acres and an half with the appurts formerly the Lands of the said William Claverley and since of the Earl of Aylesford in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of one Shilling Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Also all that one Meadow lying in Churchburn Mead and one acre lying in the Common Field called Widecroft formerly the Lands of the said William Claverley and since of the Earl of Aylesford in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of one Shilling Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Also all that one Messuage called Wellers with all the Barns Stables Edifices Gardens Orchards and Curtilages to the said Messuage belonging and three closes to the same belonging containing by estimation Seven acres and one Meadow called Newbridge Mead by Estimation Two Acres and three Acres of Land by Estimation lying in the Common Field called Wellcroft and one Acre of Land by Estimation lying in the Common Field called Southnest and three Acres of Land by Estimation lying in the Common Fields called North hills and half an Acre of Meadow lying in a Common Mead called Westburn Mead and four Acres of Land by Estimation lying in the Common Fields called Neltro with the appurts formerly the Land of Joseph Hone and since of the Earl of Aylesford in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of five Shillings and one penny half penny Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Also all those four Acres of Land lying in North hills And onen Acre of Land lying in Widecroft with the appurts in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of seven pence Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Also all that Coppice or Parcel of Woodground abutting in Lome pitts Lane called Paynes by Estimation Six Acres late Cobbetts of the Pound and since of the Earl of Aylesford in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of One Shilling and Six pence Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And also all that Close of Land called North hills containing by Estimation four Acres and an half formerly parcel of the Land of Henry Cobbett and afterwards of Joseph Hone and since of the Earl of Aylesford in the said parish and Manor of Bisley by the yearly Rent of Ten Pence Heriot when it happens Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed  And all his Estate and Interest of in or to the same and all and every part and Parcel thereof To which the said Thomas Loveland was at a Special Court Baron held for rthe said Manor the twenty third day of January last admitted upon the Surrender of Mary Nicholas Widow To the use and Behoof of Mary Boughton of Send in the said County of Surrey Spinster her heirs and assigns for ever under a Proviso nevertheless and upon Conditions to be void if the said Thomas Loveland his heirs Executors Admors or assigns did and should well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Mary Boughton her Executors or Admors the full Sum of Four hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain Together with Interest for the same after the rate of Four pounds and ten shillings for One hundred pounds for a year upon the twenty third day of January next ensuing the date thereof without any deduction to be made or taken out of the same on any account whatsoever.
[Margin Note: Be it Remembered that the said Mary Boughton Did on the 2d day of Febry 1780 acknowledge to have had and received of and from the said Thomas Loveland all Principal and Interest due on the said Surrender and by a Warrant under her hand of that date Did authorize and Impower me to enter such her acknowledgement on the Court Rolls or Books of the said Manor Witness my hand. The Homage also Present That Mary Towers one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to her and her heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor One Cottage and fourteen Rods of Land ny Estimation more or less And One parcelof Land called the Common Plott by Estimation One quarter of an Acre of Land lying at Knaphill in Bisley by the yearly Rent of one Shilling Heriot when it should happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed died since the last Court Seized thereof upon whose death there became due and ought to have been seized to the use of the Lord of the said Manor an Heriot to wit the best living animal of the said Mary Towers But the said Mary Towers at the time of her death had not any living animal And that James Towers of Bisley aforesaid Husbandman is the only Son and next Heir of full age  Whereupon at this Court upon the first Proclamation Came the said James Towers in his proper person into Court and humbly prayed to be admitted to the said Cottage fourteen Rods and one parcel of Land with the appurts To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Steward granted the same To hold to the said James Towers his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of One Shilling Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed and the said James Towers Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his admittance as appears in the margin [10s.6d]  He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and did Fealty to the Lord.

At this Court Came William Taylor of Horsel in the County of Surrey Husbandman and Ann his Wife (She the said Ann being first solely and separately Examined apart from her said Husband by the said Steward and Consented thereto) and in open Court Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod according to the Custom of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement with the Garden thereto belonging containing by Estimation one Rod formerly belonging to Blanch Wisdom afterwards to John Robinson since to Sarah Collyer and late to Sarah the Wife of Henry Collyer To the Use and Behoof of Samuel Suddeby of Bisley aforesaid Husbandman his heirs and assigns for ever Whereupon at this Court came here into Court in his proper person the said Samuel Suddeby and humbly prayed to be admitted to the said premises with the appurts To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Steward Granted the same To hold to the said Samuel Suddeby his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of two pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed and the said Samuel Suddeby Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his admittance as appears in the margin [10s.6d]  He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and did Fealty to the Lord.

At this Court came into Court Thomas Wisdom one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor in his proper person and in open Court Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod according to the Custom of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward All the Estate Right Title benefit and Equity of Redemption of him the said Thomas Wisdom of in and to all that one Messuage Tenement or Cottage and one Acre of Land with the appurts to the same adjoining lying in Bisley within this Manor
And also the scite of a Cottage or Tenement called Vannitts And one acre of Land to the same belonging with the appurts And also one acre of Land late part of the wast adjoining to a close called Hassell Hill within the said Manor  To the Use and Behoof of John Garrett of Horsell in the County of Surrey Husbandman his heirs and assigns for ever under this Proviso That if the said Thomas Wisdom his heirs Executors Admors or assigns do or shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said John Garrett his Exors or Admors the full Sum of Fifteen Pounds now lent and advanced by the said John Garrett to the said Thomas Wisdom And also a former Sum of Thirty Pounds due on the said premises to the said John Garrett (and Secured by a former Surrender in open Court on the Sixteenth day of October one thousand seven hundred and Sixty four) On or upon the fifteenth day of April next ensuing the date hereof with Interest at the Rate of Four Pounds per Cent per annum without any deduction Then this Surrender and the said former Surrender are to be void.
[Margin Note: Memorandum That on the 12th day of December 1769 John Jarrett in this Surrender named did acknowledge that he had received of Thomas Wisdom in this Surrender also named the Sum of Forty Five Pounds in full of all Principal and Interest then due by Virtue of the said Surrender and by a Warrant under his hand of the same Date impowered me to Enter the same on the Court Rolls of this Manor accordingly. At this Court came into Court John Whittall of Bisley in the County of Surrey Husbandman one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor in his proper person and in open Court Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod according to the Custom of the said Manor by the acceptance of the said Steward All that his Copyhold Messuage or Tenement with the Barn and all other outbuildings Orchards Gardens Yards backsides and appurts thereto belonging formerly in the Tenure of William Johnson or his assigns and also all those his five Closes of Copyhold arable Meadow or pasture Land containing by Estimation Seven Acres more or less in Bisley late also belonging to the said William Johnson To the Use and Behoof of William Thief of Frimley in the said County Wheelwright his heirs and assigns for ever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever Whereupon at this Court came here into Court in his proper person the said William Thief and humbly prayed to be admitted to the said Copyhold Messuage or Tenement and to the Barn Outbuildings Gardens Yards backsides and appurts to the same belonging To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Steward granted the same To hold to the said William Thief his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Six pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed and the said Samuel Suddeby Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his admittance as hereafter mentioned  He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and did Fealty to the Lord.
And also whereupon at this Court came again here into Court in his proper person the said William Thief and humbly prayed to be admitted to the said five Closes of Copyhold Arable Meadow or pasture land with their appurts To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Steward granted the same To hold to the said William Thief his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed and the said Samuel Suddeby Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his second admittance and for his said former admittance as appears in the margin [Fine for the whole £7.10s]  He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and did Fealty to the Lord.

At this Court upon the second proclamation Came into Court in her proper person Ann Waterer the Wife of Thomas Waterer of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Carpenter lately Ann Hodd Spinster the Daughter and Devisee of the Copyhold Messuage and Lands hereinafter mentioned named in the Will of Richard Hodd her Father deceased whose death was presented at a Court Baron holden for the said Manor on the twenty fourth day of October one thousand seven hundred and Sixty Six and humbly prayed to be admitted to all that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement called Edsawes and four closesof Land by Estimation four Acres and an half with the Buildings Gardens Orchards and appurts therto belonging which came into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor upon the death of the said Richard Hodd To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Steward Granted the same To hold to the said Ann Waterer her heirs and assigns for ever (Subject to certain payments and Charges mentioned in the Will of the said Richard Hodd) by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of _______ [4d] Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and Customs therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed And she Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her admittance as appears in the margin [£7.10s]  She is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod but her Fealty is respited because and so forth./.
