A Special Court Baron of the Right Honourable Richard Lord Onslow Lord of the said Manor held for the said Manor on Wednesday the Sixteenth day of October in the Twenty Eight Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &r and in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred & Fifty four Before John Chatfield  Gentleman Steward there.

At this Court came John Hill and prayed of the Lord of the said Manor to be Admitted To all that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement called Radsells Grove with the Barn Buildings Orchards Gardens and all the Lands thereto belonging with the Appurtenances containing by Estimation Five Acres more or less Situate and being in the Parish of Bisley late in the Occupation of William Slaughter and ??? of the said John Hill which came into the hands of the said Lord upon the Surrender of James Marter Presented and Entered at a Court Baron held for the said Manor on Friday the Fourth day of this Instant October  To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Steward Granted the same To Hold to the said John Hill his Heirs & Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly Rent of two Pence Heriot When it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs & Services therefore due and of right accustomed and the said John Hill paid to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admission to the said Premises as appears in the Margin [£7.7s]  He is admitted Tenant thereof has seizin by the Rod and did Fealty.

And afterwards at this Court came again the said John Hill in his Proper Person and in open Court Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Acceptance of the said Steward the said Copyhold Messuage or Tenement and Premises with the Appurtenances to which he was at this Court Immediately before Admitted To the Use and behoof of George Martin of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Yeoman his Heirs and Assigns for ever Under and Subject to this Proviso that if the said John Hill his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns do pay to the said George Martin his Executors Administrators or Assigns the full sum of Thirty Pounds with Interest for the same at the Rate of Four Pounds for the Hundred by the Year of Lawfull Money of Great Britain On the Sixteenth day of January next Ensuing without any Deduction or Abatement On any Account Whatsoever Then this Surrender to be void and of no Effect Otherwise to Remain in full force and Virtue.
 [Margin note: Memorandum that on the Seventeenth day of October One thousand seven hundred and Fifty Seven George Martin in this Surrender named did Acknowledge that he had rec.ed of and from John Hill in this Surrender also named the sum of Thirty Pounds in full satisfaction of all Principal and Interest due by virtue of and under the said Surrender & by a Warrant under his hand dated the 17th day of October 1757 Impowered me to enter the same on the Rolls of the Court of the said Manor]
