They present that James Hone died since last Court possessed of a Freehold Cottage and there  Happened a Herriott due to the Lord

At this Court the Homage present that John Kidder of Worplesdon in the County of Surry
af.d Brickmaker & Anne his Wife (she the said Anne being by the said Steward first solely & Secretly examined & consenting thereto) did by their Surrender lawfully Stampt bearing date the Eleventh Day of September last All that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurts did Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by the acceptance of the said Steward All that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurts called Whicharde & one close of Land adjoining by Estimation one Acre lying in Bisley af.d To the use and behoofe of John Field of Warplesdon aforesaid shoemaker his Heirs & Assigns for ever And the said John Field being present in Court prayed to be Admitted to the said prem.es To whom the Lord by his Steward af.d Hath granted the prem.es aforesaid To Have and To Hold to the said John Field his Heirs & assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due & of right accustomed & he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her Estate as appears in the Margin [?] & so he was admitted Tennant had seizin by the Rod & did Fealty.
At this Court the Homage present that John Kidder of Worplesdon in the County of Surry
af.d Brickmaker & Anne his Wife (she the said Anne being by the said Steward first solely & Secretly exam.d & consenting thereto) did by their Surrender lawfully Stampt bearing date the Eleventh Day of September last Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by the acceptance of the said Steward All that parcel of Land with the Appurts lying in four severally containing by Estimation seven Acres more or less And Two Acres of Land & half an Acre of Land more or less lying in the Common Field called Neltro & Five Acres of Land & half an Acre of Land lying in the Common Field called Widecroft in the said Mannor of Bisley To the use and behoofe of John Field of Warplesdon aforesaid Shoemaker & to his Heirs & Assigns for ever And the said John Field being present in Court prayed to be Admitted to the said prem.es To whom the Lord by his Steward af.d Hath granted the prem.es aforesaid To Have and To Hold to the said John Field his Heirs & assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due & of right accustomed & he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her Estate as appears in the Margin [£13.10s] & so he was admitted Tennant had seizin by the Rod & did Fealty.

At this Court came James Watts of Chilworth in the County of Surry and in full & open Court did Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by the acceptance of the said Steward All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement with the Outhouses Gardens & Appurts thereunto belonging situate & being within this Mannor heretofore in the possession of John Towers To the use and behoofe of John Stiles of John Stiles of Woking in the County of Surry Taylor his Heirs & Assigns for ever And the said John Stiles being present in Court prayed to be Admitted to the said prem.es To whom the Lord by his Steward af.d Hath granted the prem.es aforesaid with their Appurts To Have and To Hold to the said John Stiles his Heirs & assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due & of right accustomed & he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her Estate as appears in the Margin [£1.10s] & so he was admitted Tennant had Seizin by the Rod & did Fealty.

Be it Remembered that on the Twenty first Day of May last Abel Walter Esq.r Lord of this Mannor by Henry Walter Gent. Steward thereof hath granted to Anthony Beauchamp of Chobham in the said County Gent Licence to let All and singular his Copyhold Mess.e & Tenements whatsoever within this Mannor to any person or persons as he shall think fit for the Term of Twenty one Years from Michaelmas then next or for any lesser Term  So that all the Rents Herriotts fines Customs & Services therefore due & of right accustomed be from time to time as the same shall become due & paid & done & performed to the Lord of the said Mannor.

At this Court the Homage present that Edward Lawford Surrendered his Copyhold Estate in this Mannor as follows  Mannor of Bisley in Surry. Be it remembered that on this seventeenth day of June in the Year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty one Edward Lawford of Woking in this County of Surry Shopkeeper one of the Customary Tennants of this Mannor by these presents and according to the Custom of this Mannor did Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by the acceptance of Henry Walter Gent. Steward thereof All those three pieces of Land being Coppice Ground containing by Estimation an Acre and a half and one Acre & an half called Brooke Ground and one close of Land called Rough Ground containing by Estimation three Acres more or less situate lying and being in the said Mannor of Bisley and was heretofore the Estate of Grace the wife of George Rapley and now is in the possession of John Cheeseman To such uses Trusts Intents & purposes as he the said Edward Lawford shall in & by his last Will & Testament in writing & sealed in the presence of three or more credible Witnesses Limit direct or appoint the same.
