Who being sworn and Charged present as follows
In the first place They present that John Kidder died since the last Court seized of a Copyhold Messuage and about Two Acres of Land and there happened a Fine and Herriott due to the Lord, and of one other Copyhold Messuage and about an Acre of Land and there hapned a Fine and Herriott to the Lord, and one other Copyhold about thirty two Acres of Land and there hapned a Fine and Herriott to the Lord, and of one other Copyhold and about twelve acres of Land and there happed a Fine and Herriott to the Lord and one other Copyhold about three Acres of Land and there hapned a Fine and Herriott to the Lord
They also present that William Atfield died since the last Court seized of a Copyhold Messuage and one Acre of Land more or less and there hapned a Fine and Herriott due to the Lord
Also they present all Defaulters that have not appeared at this Court in four pence each
At this Court The Homage present that John Kidder deced late one of the Customary Tennants of this Mannor did surrender out of Court into the hands of William Collyer and Richard Hod two other Customary Tennants of this Mannor the Copyhold Land of him the said John Kidder hereafter mentioned which said Surrender is as follows Bisley Mannor in Surry The third day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty three I John Kidder of Warplesdon in the County of Surry Yeoman one of the Customary Tennants of the Mannor of Bisley aforesd for and in Consideration of the full sum of Fifty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to me paid and Lent by Joseph Neal of Frimley in the County of Surry aforesaid Husbandman The Receipt whereof I acknowledge Have out of Court Surrendered and by these presents I the said John Kidder do Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor of Bisley aforesaid by the Rod and by the Hands and acceptance of William Collyer and Richard Hod two Customary Tennants of the said Mannor All that my parcell of Brook Ground Pasture or Feeding Land lying in four Severals containing by estimation together seven Acres more or less and adjoyning to other Lands of the said John Kidder on the East one Acre of Arable Land in the Common Field called Neltroe one half Acre of Arrable Land Lying in the same Field adjoyning to the Lands of George Rempnant One half Acre of Arable Land lying in the same Field abutting on the Lands of Richard Hod one other half Acre of Arable Land lying in the same Field abutting also against the Land of Richard Hod and other half Acre of Arrable Land lying in the same Field and likewise also one other half Acre of Arable Land in the same Field called Widecroft which said Land & premes are Lying and being in Bisley aforesaid with the Appurtenances To the use and behoofe of the said Joseph Neal his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the Mannor upon Condition nevertheless that if the said John Kidder My Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid to the above said Joseph Neal his Executors Administrators or Assigns the full sum of Fifty and two pounds of lawful money of Great Britain on the third day of April which shall be in the Year of our Lord 1734 That then this present Surrender to be void and of none Effect or else to Remain & be in full power force & Virtue John Kidder This Surrender was taken within the said Mannor of Bysley and accepted by us William Collyer Richard Hod

At this Court The Homage likewise present that the said John Kidder did on the said third day of April surrender premises hereafter mentioned in the word following Bisley Mannor in Surry The third day of April in the year of our Lord 1733 I John Kidder of Warplesdon in the County of Surry Yeoman one of the Customary Tennants of the Mannor of Bisley aforesaid for and in Consideration of the [sum] of one hundred pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to me paid and lent by John Spong of Chobham in the said County of Surry aforesaid Yeoman the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge Have out of Court Surrendered and by these presents I the said John Kidder Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the Mannor of Bisley aforesaid by the Rod and by the Hands and Acceptance of William Collyer and Richard Hod two Customary Tennants of the said Mannor All that my parcell of Copyhold Lands which were lately purchased of John Smith lying in four Severals containing by estimation together twenty Acres more or less with the Appurts abutting on the Common on North and West parts and other Lands of the said John Kidder on the East and in the Occupation of the said John Kidder or his Assigns situate lying and being in Bisley aforesaid with all and every the Appurts thereto belonging To the use and behoofe of the said John Spong his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the Mannor upon Condition nevertheless that if the said John Kidder My Heirs Exors Admors or Ass some or one of them do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the above named John Spong his Exors Admors or Assigns the full sum of one hundred and four pounds of lawful money of Great Britain on the third day of April which shall be in the Year of our Lord 1734 without any abatement for Taxes or any other Account whatsoever That then this present Surrender to be void and of none Effect or else to remain and be in full power force & Virtue John Kidder This Surrender was taken within the said Mannor of Bisley and accepted by us Wm Collyer Richard Hod

At this Court The Homage likewise present that the said John Kidder did on the Twenty fourth day of March in the year 1732 Surrender the premises hereafter mentioned in the words following Bisley Mannor in Surry The Twenty fourth of March in the year of our Lord 1732 Be it remembered that the day and year above written I John Kidder of Worplesdon in the County of Surry Brickmaker one of the Customary Tennants of the Mannor of Bisley in the said County of Surry for and in Consideration of the full and good sum of £180 of good and lawful money of Great Britain to me well and truly paid and lent by Thomas Goater of Chobham in the County of Surry Cordwainer the Receipt whereof I acknowledge have out of Court the day and year above written Surrendered and by these presents do Surr into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor of Bisley afsd by the Delivery of the Rod according to the Custom of the said Manor there and by the Hands and acceptance of William Collyer and Henry Whittall two other Customary Tennants of the said Mannor All that my parcell of Copyhold Stables and formerly purchased of John Smith now divided into five Sev.ls containing by estim Twenty Acres be the same more or less abutting upon the Common there on the South part and on the Lands of John French on the East and on the Land late Wm Sayers on the West and on Lands of John Goreing on the North part situate lying and being in Bisley aforesaid and ???? unto Stan????e with all and every the Appurts thereunto belonging To remain and be to the Sole Use and behoofe of him the said Thomas Goater his Heirs and Assigns for ever upon this Condition nowithstanding that is to say that if the said John Kidder My Heirs Exors or Admors do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid to the said Thomas Goater or his Exors Admors or Assigns the full and just sum of £124 16s of good and lawful money of Great Britain at or within the now dwelling house of him the said Thomas Goater situate in Chobham afsd and at such time as is herein after mentioned That is to say the sum of two pounds and Eight shillings in or upon the 24 day of September next ensuing the date hereof and also the Sum of £122 8s in or upon the 26th day of March then next following in full payment without Fraud or delay That then this present Surrender to be void and of none Effect or else to remain Stand and be in full power force & Virtue John Kidder This Surrender was taken within the said Mannor of Bisley and accepted by us Wm Collyer the mark of H Henry Whittall

At this Court The Homage Present That George Ansley and Dinah his Wife Customary Tennants of the Mannor of Bisley did out of Court and since the last Court that is to say on the fourteenth day of September last past Surrendered the Copyhold Estates hereafter Mentioned in the words following (that is to say) Mannor of Bisley in Surry Be it remembered that this fourteenth day of September one thousand seven hundred thirty and three George Ansley and Dinah his Wife Customary Tennants of the said Mannor came before me Henry Walter Gent Steward of the said Mannor and did Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by my acceptance (she the said Dinah being first solely and secretly Examined by me and consenting thereto) All that one Customary Messuage or Tenement one Garden one Barn and one Stable with their Appurts lying and being in Bisley Green within the said Mannor and three quarters of an Acre of Land there and four Acres of Land with the Appurts lying in the Common Field called Widecroft in Bisley heretofore the Messuage & Land of John Cobbett and Elizabeth his Wife And also one other Acre of Land with the Appurts lying in the Common Field aforesaid and one acre of Land with the Appurts lying in the Common Field called Burcroft and one acre of Land Meadow with the Appurts lying in the Common Mead called Westburn Mead ????????? since Roger Cobbetts and late land of William Jarrett and Elizabeth his Wife in Bisley aforesaid And on Cottage with a Garden Yard and Appurts To the use of Stephen Hewett of Farnham in the County of Surry Tallow Chandler and his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the said Mannor Subject nevertheless to Redemption on Payment of the sum of One hundred and forty six pounds and fifteen shillings and Interest after the rate of Five pounds by the hundred pounds by the Year and from and after payment of the same and all Costs and Charges Then to the use of the said Dinah and her Heirs for ever George Ansley the mark of X Dinah Ansley This Surrender was taken the day and year aforesaid by me Henry Walter Steward
At this Court the Homage Present That George Rapley and Grace his Wife Customary Tennants of this Mannor did out of Court and since the last Court to witt on the thirteenth day of ?????? ???? of October Surrender the Lands and Premes hereafter mentioned in the words following Bisley Mannor to witt Be it remembered that on the thirteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord 1730 George Rapley and Grace his Wife came before me Henry Walter Gentleman Steward of the said Mannor and did Surrender and by these presents and according to the custom of the said Mannor Do and each of them Doth Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by my acceptance (she the said Grace being by me the said Steward first solely and secretly Examined and consenting thereto) All those three pieces of Land being Coppice Ground containing by Estimation one Acre and an half and one Acre and an half called Brook Ground more or less And one Close of Land called Rough Ground by Estimation three Acres and the Appurts in Bisley aforesaid And all the Estate Right Title property Claim and demand whatsoever of them the said George Rapley and Grace his Wife their Heirs or Ass.s of into out of or from the same and every part and parcell thereof To the use and behoofe of Edward Lawford of Woking in the County of Surry Taylor his Heirs and Assigns for ever George Rapley Grace Rapley This Surrender was taken and accepted at Bisley aforesaid the day and year above mentioned by me Henry Walter Steward
