Admittance of Mary Hill
At this Court upon the second Proclamation came here into Court in her own proper person Mary Hill Widow and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to The several parts and parcels hereinafter mentioned and described of All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement called Radsells Grove with the Barn Buildings Orchards Gardens and all the Lands thereto belonging with the appurtenances containing by estimation five acres more or less in the Parish of Bisley late in the occupation of William Slaughter and since of John Hill that is to say the North end of the said Messuage a small piece of Ground before it half the Barn half the Yard South end and Garden behind the Barn two platts of Ground the West side against the other a road to it from the Yard about two and half acres (more or less) Also the Hog-sty against the Common Which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of Henry Hill To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seisin thereof by the rod To hold to the said Mary Hill her heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly apportioned rent of One penny Heriot when it shall happen suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin [£12] and her fealty was pardoned.

And afterwards at this Court came here into Court in her proper person the said Mary Hill and (in consideration of the Sum of Ninety pounds of lawful money of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland current in Great Britain to her paid by Joseph Hockley the younger of Guildford in the County of Surrey Gentleman) surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid according to the Custom of the said Manor The said several parts and parcels above mentioned and described of All that Copyhold Messuage called Radsells Grove with the Barn Buildings Orchards Gardens and Lands thereto belonging to which the said Mary Hill had at this Court immediately before been admitted To the only Use and Behoof of the said Joseph Hockley the younger his heirs and assigns for ever Upon Condition nevertheless to be void if the said Mary Hill her heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Joseph Hockley the younger his executors administrators or assigns the full Sum of Ninety pounds together with lawful Interest for the same of lawful Money aforesaid on the sixth day of May now next ensuing.

At this Court came here into Court in his proper person George Hill one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred pounds of lawful money of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland current in Great Britain to him paid by Joseph Hockley the younger of Guildford in the County of Surrey Gentleman surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid according to the Custom of the said Manor the several parts and parcels hereinafter mentioned and described of All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement called Radsells Grove with the Barn Buildings Orchards Gardens and all the Lands thereto belonging with the appurtenances containing by estimation five acres more or less in the Parish of Bisley late in the occupation of William Slaughter and since of John Hill that is to say the South end of the said Messuage the Garden before it the Orchard behind it half the Barn the West end half the Yard and four plots of Ground one against the House two below that and one against the Common Southward containing about two acres and a half more or less To the only Use and Behoof of the said Joseph Hockley the younger his heirs and assigns for ever Upon Condition nevertheless to be void if the said George Hill his heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Joseph Hockley the younger his executors administrators or assigns the full Sum of One hundred pounds together with lawful Interest for the same of lawful Money aforesaid on the sixth day of May now next ensuing.

Death of Hannah Collyer
The Homage also present that Hannah Collyer one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to her and her heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor All that Messuage called Cumbers with the Buildings Garden Orchard and Land to the said Messuage adjoining containing by estimation one acre be the same more or less with the appurtenances situate lying and being in the Parish of Bisley and within this Manor formerly the Estate of James Miles by the yearly rent of One penny Heriot when it shall happen suit of Court and other Customs and Services Died since the last Court Whereupon there became due to the Lord of this Manor for an Heriot the best live Beast of the said Hannah Collyer but nothing was seized she not having any live Animal at the time of her death
Will of Hannah Collyer
And the Homage further present that the said Hannah Collyer duly made and published her last Will and Testament in Writing (which was now produced and read in open Court) in the words following “This is the last Will & Testament of me Hannah Collyer of Bisley in the County of Surrey Widow Whereby I will give and devise unto my Son William Collyer and to his heirs and assigns for ever all that my Copyhold Messuage Tenement or Cottage with the with the Buildings Yard Garden Land hereditaments and premises to the same belonging situate and being in the Manor of Bisley for his own sole use and Benefit (Excepting five pounds only) which I desire may be given to my eldest Son James Collyer at the expiration of twelve months after my decease I also appoint him my said Son William Collyer sole Executor of this my Will In witness whereof I the said Hannah Collyer (the Testatrix) have hereunto set my hand and seal the tenth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
