Be it Remembered that on the first day of November one thousand eight hundred and sixteen The Lord of this Manor by Joseph Hockley the younger Gentleman Steward of the said Manor did grant licence to John Mose a customary Tenant of the said Manor to Demise and let unto any proper person or persons and to his or their executors administrators and assigns All or any part or parts of the Copyhold or customary messuages lands tenements and hereditaments of him the said John Mose holden by him of this Manor for any term or number of years not exceeding fourteen years from the twenty ninth day of September now last past saving nevertheless and reserving to the said Lord of this Manor his heirs and successors Lord or Lords Lady or Ladies of the said Manor All Fines Quit rent services and other duties when and so often as they shall grow due And all ordinary and usual remedies for the same by seizure distress and otherwise in as large and ample manner to all intents and purposes as if this Licence had not been granted.
