At a Special Court Baron of The Right Honorable Thomas Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor held in and for the said Manor on Thursday the twenty fourth day of November in the Fifty fifth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith And in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fourteen Before Joseph Hockley the younger Gentleman Steward there.

The Homage aforesaid being sworn and charged on their Oath do say and present That William Field late one of the copyhold or customary Tenants of this Manor who held to him and his heirs of the Lord of this Manor by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor All that messuage barn garden orchard and one acre and an half of arable and meadow Land with the appurtenances in the Parish of Bisley by the yearly rent of One shilling and eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services Died since the last Court so thereof seized Whereupon an heriot to wit the best live Beast of the said William Field became due to the Lord of this manor but that none was seized his death not being known to the Bailiff of this Manor til his stock was disposed of And that Benjamin field the eldest Son of Benjamin field deceased the eldest Brother of the said William Field is the heir at law of the said William Field according to the custom of this Manor  Now at this Court came here into Court in his proper person the said Benjamin Field (the Son) and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to the said messuage barn garden orchard and one acre and an half of Arable and meadow land with the appurtenances which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said William Field To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered Seizin thereof by the rod  To hold to the said Benjamin field (the son) his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the yearly apportioned rent of One shilling and eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so he was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his admittance as appears in the margin [£10] and his fealty was respited.

Now again at this Court came here into Court in his proper person the said Benjamin Field (the Son) and in consideration of the sum of One hundred and forty pounds of lawful money of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland current in Great Britain to him in hand paid by Elizabeth Dabourn the Wife of John Dabourn of Chobham in the County of Surrey Laborer) surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod and by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid according to the custom of the said Manor All that the said messuage barn garden orchard and one acre and an half of arable and meadow land with the appurtenances in the parish of Bisley to which he had at this Court before been admitted containing by estimation Two acres within and held of the said Manor To the only proper and absolute use and behoof of the said Elizabeth Dabourn the Wife of the said John Dabourn her heirs and assigns for ever Now at this Court came here into Court in her proper person the said Elizabeth Dabourn the Wife of the said John Dabourn and humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to the said messuage barn garden orchard and land in pursuance of the said surrender To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin thereof by the rod  To Hold to the said Elizabeth Dabourn the Wife of John Dabourn her heirs and assigns for ever by copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of One shilling and eight pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her estate thereinto be had as appears in the margin [£7 12s 6d] And her Fealty was pardoned.

At this Court came here into Court in his proper person the said John Dabourn and Elizabeth his Wife and (the said Elizabeth being first separately examined a part from her said Husband by the said Steward and consenting) surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod and by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid according to the custom of the said Manor All that the said messuage barn garden orchard and one acre and an half of arable and meadow land with the appurtenances in the parish of Bisley to which the said Elizabeth had at this Court before been admitted To the use of such person or persons and for such estate and estates interest and interests ends intents and purposes as the said Elizabeth shall in and by her last will and testament in writing or any writing in the nature of or purporting to be her last Will and Testament give will devise limit direct or appoint the same.
