A Court Baron of The Right Honorable Richard Lord Onslow Lord of the said Manor held for the said Manor held for the said Manor on Tuesday the sixteenth day of November in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c And in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred & Seventy three Before Charles Pembroke Gentleman Deputy of John Chandler Gentleman Chief Steward there.

At this Court upon the third Proclamation Came into Court in his proper Person William Thick Eldest Son and Heir of William Thick late of Frimley in the County of Surrey Wheelwright deceased and humbly prayed to be admitted to A customary Messuage or Tenement together with the Barn and all other Outbuildings Orchards Gardens Yards Backsides and Appurtenances thereto belonging formerly in the Tenure of William Johnson or his Assigns which came into the Hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Death of William Thick his Father whose Death was presented at a General Court Baron holden for the said Manor on the sixteenth day of October one thousand seven hundred and seventy two To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To Hold to him the said William Thick the Son his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord According to the Custom of this Manor by the Yearly Rent of _______ Heriot when is shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed And he Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his admittance as appears afterwards he is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.
And also at this Court came again into Court in his proper Person the said William Thick the Son and prayed to be admitted to All those five Closes of Copyhold arable Meadow or Pasture Land containing by Estimation seven Acres more or less in Bisley and which also came into the Hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Death of the William Thick the Father To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To Hold to him the said William Thick the Son his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord According to the Custom of this Manor by the Yearly Rent of _______ Heriot when is shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed and he Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his second admittance as appears afterwards he is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.
And also at this Court came again into Court in his proper Person the said William Thick the Son and prayed to be admitted to All that Messuage Tenement or Cottage and one Acre of Land with the Appurtenances to the same adjoining lying in Bisley aforesaid And which also came into the Hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Death of the William Thick the Father To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To Hold to him the said William Thick the Son his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord According to the Custom of this Manor by the Yearly Rent of _______ Heriot when is shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed And he Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his third admittance as appears afterwards he is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.
And also at this Court came again into Court in his proper Person the said William Thick the Son and prayed to be admitted to A Scite of a Cottage or Tenement called Vanits and one Acre of Land to the same belonging with the Appurtenances And also one Acre of Land late part of the Waste adjoining to a Close called Hassell Hill within this Manor And which also came into the Hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Death of the William Thick the Father To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To Hold to him the said William Thick the Son his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord According to the Custom of this Manor by the Yearly Rent of _______ Heriot when is shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of Right accustomed and he Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his fourth admittance and for his said three former Admittances as appears in the Margin [£15] he is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited. And because it appears to this Court that the said William Thick is under the Age of Twenty one Years Viz.t of the Age of thirteen Years or thereabouts the Custody as well of the Person of the said William Thick as of the said several Estates of the said William Thick is Granted to Rachael Thick of Frimley in the said County Widow his Mother until the said William Thick shall attain the Age of Twenty one Years she the said Rachael Thick keeping and observing the Customs of the said Manor in all things and keeping the said Premisses severally and respectively in good Repair And rendering an Account thereof to the said Infant when he shall attain the said Age of Twenty one Years and the said Rachael Thick by William Over her Attorney is admitted Guardian of her said Son accordingly.
