A View of Frankpledge with a General Court Baron of The Right Honorable George Lord Onslow and Cranley Lord of the said Manor there held for the said Manor on Friday the twentieth day of May in the thirty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c And in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and ninety one Before Thomas Sibthorpe Gent Steward there.

At this Court upon the third proclamation came into Court in his proper person William Eacott the Eldest Son and Heir of John Eacott late one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of this Manor and humbly prayed to be admitted to One parcel of Land containing by Estimation Two Acres abutting on the parsonage Mead on the East And also One other parcel of Land containing by Estimation One Quarter of an Acre lying within the Manor which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said John Eacott To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said William Eacott his Heirs and Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly Rent of Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appears in the Margin [-] He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.

The Homage present a certain Surrender taken out of Court and since the last Court to wit on the eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and ninety whereby Edward Jenkins William Wyat Want John Gaskoin and Thomas Baker Copyhold or Customary Tenants of this Manor Did Surrender into the hands of the Lord of this Manor by the Rod and by the Acceptance of the said Thomas Sibthorpe then Deputy Steward of this Manor according to the Custom of the said Manor All that parcel of Ground containing by Estimation One Acre and an half more or less called Bisley Mead formerly in the occupation of Thomas Loveland to which they were admitted at a View of Frankpledge with a General Court Baron holden for the said Manor on Friday the eighth day of May One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty nine And all their Estate Right Title and Interest therein and thereto  To the only proper Use and Behoof of Sarah Sibthorpe of Guildford in the County of Surrey Spinster her Heirs and Assigns for ever And to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever Whereupon at this Court upon the first proclamation came into Court the said Sarah Sibthorpe by William Eacott her attorney and humbly prayed to be Admitted to the said premises in pursuance of the said Surrender  To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Steward granted the same To hold to her the said Sarah Sibthorpe her Heirs and Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly Rent of _______  Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And She gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her Admittance as appears in the Margin [-]  She is by her said attorney admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and her Fealty is respited.

At this Court came into Court in his proper person John Gaskoin One of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of this Manor and Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of this Manor by the Rod and by the Acceptance of the said Steward according to the Custom of this Manor All that Customary Messuage or Tenement One Garden One Barn and one Stable with the  appurtenances in Bisley Green within the said Manor and Three Quarters of an acre of Land there and four acres of Land with the Appurtenances lying in the Common Field called Widecroft heretofore the Messuage and Lands of John Cobbett and Elizabeth his Wife And also one other acre of Land with the Appurts lying in the Common Field aforesaid And one Acre of Land lying in the Common Field called Burcroft and one acre of Meadow lying in the Common Mead called Westburn Mead with their and every of their Appurtenances some time Roger Cobbetts and since the Estate of William Hewitt and formerly in the Tenure or occupation of Absalom Knight To the only proper Use and Behoof of George Gosden of Chobham yeoman and of his Heirs according to the Custom of this Manor Whereupon at this Court came into Court in his proper person the said George Gosden and humbly prayed to be Admitted to the said premises in pursuance of the said Surrender  To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said George Gosden his Heirs and Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly Rent of _______  Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appears in the Margin [-]  He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.

Also at this Court came again into Court in his proper person the said John Gaskoin one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of this Manor and Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of this Manor by the Rod and by the Acceptance of the said Steward according to the Custom of this Manor All that Cottage with a Garden Yard and appurtenances situate lying and being in Bisley formerly in the occupation of Henry Pritchett To the Use and Behoof of Jacob Gosden one of the Sons of George Gosden of Chobham yeoman and of his Heirs according to the Custom of this Manor Whereupon at this Court came into Court in his proper person the said Jacob Gosden and humbly prayed to be Admitted to the said premises in pursuance of the said Surrender  To whom the Lord of this Manor by the said Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said Jacob Gosden his Heirs and Assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly Rent of _______  Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appears in the Margin [-]  He is admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited by reason of his Infancy.
And because it appears to this Court that the said Jacob Gosden is under the age of twenty one years viz.t of the age of Five years or thereabouts the Custody as well of the person of the said Jacob Gosden as of the Estate of the said Jacob Gosden is Granted to George Gosden his Father until the said Jacob Gosden shall attain the age of Twenty one years He the said George Gosden keeping and observing the Customs of the said Manor in all things and keeping the said premises in good repair and rendering an Account thereof to the said Infant when he shall attain the said age of Twenty one years and the said George Gosden is admitted Guardian accordingly.

At this Court came into Court in his proper person John Loveland one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of this Manor and Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of this Manor by the Rod and by the Acceptance of the said Steward according to the Custom of this Manor All and every his Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments within and holden of this manor To the Use and Behoof of such person or persons for such Estate and Estates or to or for such Uses Intents and Purposes as he the said John Loveland in or by his last will and Testament in writing or any writing purporting to be his last will and Testament hath given devised limited or appointed or shall give devise limit or appoint the same.

The Homage also present a certain Surrender taken out of Court and since the last Court to wit on the eleventh day of January One thousand seven hundred and Ninety one whereby Ann Jarratt Widow one of the Customary or Copyhold Tenants of this Manor did Surrender by the Rod into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Acceptance of the said Steward All her Estate Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand of in and to all that Tenement with the appurtenances called Hallers One wood called New Croft One Acre of Land called Widecroft Two acres and an half more or less lying in Great West Wood Two Acres of Land lying near Palmers land in South Earsh And one Barn and one Close thereto adjoining between Hallers House and Hallers Grove with the appurtenances in Bisley aforesaid And also all that one parcel of Land called Longlands containing by Estimation Three Acres more or less in Bisley aforesaid And also that one parcel of Land called Hallers Grove containing by Estimation Three Acres more or less  in Bisley aforesaid And also all that parcel of Pasture containing by Estimation Two Acres in Bisley aforesaid abutting upon the Common Mead called Westburn Mead with the appurtenances in Bisley aforesaid To the only proper Use and Behoof of John Loveland of Bisley aforesaid Yeoman his Heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And to which the said John Loveland was admitted at a Special Court Baron holden for the said Manor on the fifth day of October One thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty five.
