A View of Frank Pledge with a General Court Baron of The Right Honorable George Lord Onslow and Cranley Lord of the said Manor held for the said Manor on Tuesday the Ninth  day of May in the Twenty Sixth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c And in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Six Before Thomas Sibthorpe Gentleman Chief Steward there

Of the Court Baron.

At this Court the Second Proclamation was made If Richard Freeland Son of the said Hester Freeland or any other Person or Persons who hath or have a right to be Admitted to All that one Messuage or Tenement and three closes of Land containing by Estimation two Acres more or less formerly in the possession of Henry Hayward which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Hester Freeland Would come into Court and take the Same out of the Lords hands he she or they should be heard but Nobody came Whereupon the second Proclamation and default are here Inrolled.

Also at this Court the Second Proclamation was made If the Heir at Law of Sally Thick Widow or any other Person or Persons who hath or have a right to be Admitted to A Customary Messuage or Tenement together with the Barn and all other Outbuildings Orchards Gardens Yards Backsides and Appurtenances thereto belonging formerly in the Tenure of William Johnson or his Assigns And also to all those five closes of Copyhold Arable Meadow or Pasture Land containing by estimation Seven Acres more or less in Bisley within this Manor which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Sally Thick Would come into Court and take the same out of the Lords hands he she or they should be heard But Nobody came Whereupon the second Proclamation and default as to Each Estate are here Inrolled.

The Homage present That Moses Evered one of the Copyhold or customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to him and his Heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor One Messuage or Tenement called Goddins with a Barn and all the Buildings Curtilages Gardens and Orchards thereunto belonging and three Pieces of Land with the appurtenances thereto adjoining whereof one is called Mead Close containing by Estimation three Acres with the appurtenances lying in Bisley within this Manor And also all those two closes of Arable Land containing by Estimation five Acres heretofore inclosed out of the Common Field called Neltro abutting on Land then of  Henry Millest on the North with the appurtenances in Bisley aforesaid Died since the last Court seized of the said three Several Copyhold Estates And that Moses Beauchamp of Chobham in the said County Carpenter is his Nephew and Heir at Law and of full age Whereupon at this Court the first Proclamation is made If the said Moses Beauchamp or any other Person or Persons who hath or have a right to be Admitted to the said three Several Copyhold Estates Would come into Court and take the same out of the Lords Hands he she or they should be heard But Nobody came Whereupon the first Proclamation and default as to each Estate are here inrolled.

The Homage also present that Moses Evered of the Parish of Bisley Yeoman one of the Copyhold or customary Tenants of this Manor did out of Court to wit on the thirteenth day of June one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty five Surrender by the Rod into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor according to the Custom of the said Manor by the acceptance of John Deedman and Philip Gyles two other Copyhold Tenants of the said Manor All that his Copyhold Messuage Barn Garden and Lands and Premises called Goddings Also his Copyhold Lands and Premises called Neltro Also two closes of Copyhold Lands and Premises adjoining to the End of Port Lane and Bisley Green Together with all other his Copyhold Lands and Premises called or Known by any name or names lying and being in the Manor of Bisley aforesaid  To the only use and behoof of such person or persons and upon such Condition as he the said Moses Evered had or should in and by his last Will and Testament in Writing direct limit or Appoint the Same

The Homage also present That William Stovall one of the Copyhold or customary Tenants of the said Manor who held to him and his Heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor One Messuage with the appurtenances at Gateshedend with the Barn Garden Orchard and about one Acre and an half of Land to the same adjoining and belonging lying and being in Bisley heretofore in the Occupation of Thomas May by the yearly Rent of Four Pence Heriot Suit of Court and other Customs purchased by him the said William Stovall of and from James Wye  And also all that Scite of a Messuage and parcel of Arable Land containing by Estimation one Acre and an half be the same more or less late the Estate of Peter Quennell deceased and before then the Estate of George Martin deceased and since of Sarah Moore lying and being in the parish of Bisley within the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Six Pence Heriot Suit of Court and other Customs and Services purchased by him the said William Stovall of and from Sarah Moore Widow And also a Cottage Turf House and Garden thereunto belonging formerly Henry Carters abutting on the Common on the North and East parts and the Lands formerly Thomas Morlens on the West and South Situate and being in the parish of Bisley aforesaid within the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Six Pence Heriot Suit of Court and other Customs purchased by him the said William Stovall of and from Henry Pritchett And also All that Copyhold Messuage or Tenement called or known by the Name of Staple Brooks with the Barn and all Buildings Orchard Garden Yards and One Close of Meadow Land by Estimation two Acres more or less and one Acre of Arable Land by the Yearly Rent of two Pence half-penny Heriot Suit of Court and other Customs and Services Purchased by him the said William Stovall of and from Elizabeth Collyer Spinster Died since the last Court seized of the said four Several Estates And that William Stovall is his Eldest Son and Heir at Law and of full age  Whereupon at this Court the first Proclamation is made If the said William Stovall the Son or any other Person or Persons who hath or have a right to be Admitted to the said four Several Copyhold Estates Would come into Court and take the same out of the Lords Hands he she or they should be heard But Nobody came Whereupon the first Proclamation and default as to each Estate are here inrolled.

The Homage also present that William Stovell of Bisley Yeoman one of the Customary or Copyhold Tenants of this Manor Did out of Court to wit on the twentieth day of August one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty five Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod and by the hands and acceptance of John Hill and Samuel Sudiby two other Customary or Copyhold Tenants of the said Manor All that his Customary or Copyhold Estate and Estates Messuage Tenement Lands and Premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate lying and being in the said Parish of Bisley and Manor of Bisley aforesaid To the use and behoof of his last Will and Testament and to such person or persons Use and Uses Intents and Purposes as by such last Will and Testament in Writing he had given limited or Appointed or should give limit or Appoint the Same

The Homage also present that Solomon Dayrolles Esquire who held to him and his Heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Manor All those
Several Parcels of Arable and Wood Ground called Widestrode and Newlands Birchett And also one Grove of Wood containing by Estimation two acres called Gomonis Grove and one Plat of Land containing by Estimation Seven Acres in Bisley Wood formerly William Martins and also One Croft called Rasins lying near Ramhurst Heath All which said Premises contain together by Estimation Thirty and three Acres little more or less and are Situate in Bisley aforesaid and held of the said Manor by Copy of Court Roll under the Yearly Rent of three Shillings and ten Pence and other Customs and Services  Died since the last Court  Whereupon the first Proclamation is made If the Heir at Law of the said Solomon Dayrolles or any other Person or Persons who hath or have a right to be Admitted to the said premises Would Come into Court and take the same out of the Lords Hands he she or they should be heard But Nobody came Whereupon the first Proclamation and default as to each Estate are here inrolled.
