At a Special Court Baron of The Right Honorable Arthur George Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor there held in and for the said Manor on Saturday the Twenty fifth day of March in the seventeenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria by the grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four Before Joseph Hockley Gentleman Steward of the Courts of the said Manor.

Death of James Street
At this Court came here into Court in her proper person Jane Street of Weybridge in the County of Surrey Spinster and informed the said Steward that James Street late one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor hath departed this life And the said Jane Street delivered to the said Steward the probate of the last Will and Testament of the said James Street and which said Will bears date the eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and forty seven Whereby he devised as follows “I give and devise unto my daughter Jane Street and her heirs all that my copyhold Estate called Newcotts or Nawcotts containing by estimation four acres situate lying and being within and held of the Manor of Bisley aforesaid To hold the same unto and to the use of my said daughter Jane Street her heirs and assigns for ever”
Admittance of Jane Street
And thereupon the said Jane Street prayed to be admitted to one parcel of Land called Newcotts containing by estimation four acres with the appurtenances which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of James Street To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin thereof by the rod To hold to the said Jane Street her heirs and assigns for ever by copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of one Shilling heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and Customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a fine for such her admittance as appears in the Margin [£8] and her fealty was pardoned.

Conditional Surrender Jane Street to Edmund Vincent
And also at this Court came here again into Court in her proper person the said Jane Street and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to her paid by Edmund Vincent of Guildford in the County of Surrey Gentleman Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the said Steward aforesaid according to the custom of the said Manor One parcel of Land called Newcotts containing by estimation four acres to which she had at this Court immediately before been admitted  To the use and Behoof of the said Edmund Vincent his heirs and assigns for ever Upon Condition nevertheless to be void if the said Jane Street her heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Edmund Vincent his executors administrators or assigns the full Sum of One hundred pounds together with Interest for the same at and after the rate of five pounds for One hundred pounds for a year of lawful money aforesaid on the twenty fifth day of September now next ensuing.
[Margin note: Be it remembered that on the third day of March One thousand eight hundred and sixty Jane Cooke Executrix of Edmund Vincent in this Surrender named did acknowledge that she had that day had and received of and from William Daborn and Jane his Wife formerly Jane Street Spinster in this Surrender named All Principal and interest Monies and all demands remaining due and owing on the above recited Surrender and the said Jane Cooke did by writing under her hand of that date empower and authorize the Steward of this Manor to enter her acknowledgement of having received such satisfaction upon the Court Rolls or Books of the said Manor accordingly.  Witness my Hand Joseph Hockley]
