Who being Sworn & Charged present as follows

Now of the Court Baron
At this Court came William Grove Gent devisee of Sarah Ford Widow dece.d  and by virtue of the last Will & Testament of the said Sarah Ford prayed to be admitted to All that one Customary Messuage or Tenement with the Barns Stables Buildings Orchard & Six Acres of Land with the Appurts more or less called Waters which came into the Hands of the Lord of this Mannor by the Death of the said Sarah Ford  To whom the Lord by his Steward aforesaid Hath Granted the premes aforesaid To Have and to Hold to the said Wm Grove his Heirs & Assigns for ever By Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due & of right accustomed & he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Estate as appears in the Margin [Fine afterw.ds] and so he was admitted Tennant had Seizin by the Rod but his Fealty was respited.

At this Court came William Grove Gent a Customary Tennant of this Mannor & in full & open Court Surrendered into the Hands of the Lord of this Mannor by the Acceptance of the said Steward All that one Customary Messuage or Tenement with the Barns Stables Buildings Orchard & Six Acres of Land with the Appurts more or less called Waters To the Use and Behoofe of him the said William Grove for and during the Term of his Natural Life and after his Decease to the Use and Behoofe of John Loveland of Worplesdon in the said County of Surry Husbandman his Heirs & Assigns for ever  And the said William Grove and John Loveland being now present in Court prayed to be admitted to the premes To whom the Lord by his Steward aforesaid Hath Granted the premes aforesaid To Have and to Hold to the said Wm Grove for and during the Term of his Natural Life and after his Decease to the said John Loveland his Heirs & Assigns for ever By Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs and Services therefore due & of Right accustomed and they gave to the Lord as a Fine for such their Estates as appears in the Margin [Fine for both £1 5s] & so they were admitted Tennants had Seizin by the Rod but their Fealty was respited.

At this Court came Henry Waters and Sarah his Wife late Sarah Call Spinster and in full and open Court she the said Sarah being by the said Steward  first solely and Secretly Examined and consenting thereto did Surrender into the Hands of the Lord of this Mannor by the Acceptance of the said Steward All that Customary Messuage or Tenement with the Appurts together with the Edifices Buildings Garden Orchard and Curtilage to the same Messuage or Tenement belonging with the Appurts situate in Bisley af.d abutting on Bisley Green on the South East and North Parts to w.ch the said Sarah was admitted on the death of her Bro. Francis Call To the Use of them the said Henry Walden and Sarah his Wife and their Assigns for and during the Term of their Natural Lives and from and after both their Deceases To the Use and Behoofe of the Heirs of the Body of the said Sarah by the said Henry to be begotten and in default of such Heirs to the Use of the right Heirs of the said Sarah for ever  Subject to and Chargeable with the payment of Fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to the Exors admors or assigns of the said Henry Waldens Will in three Months after the decease of the Survivor of them the said Henry Walden and Sarah his Wife And they the said Henry and Sarah being present in Court Prayed to be admitted to the premes af.d To whom the Lord by his Steward af.d Hath Granted the premes aforesaid To Have and to Hold to the said Henry Walden and Sarah his Wife for and during the Term of their Natural lives and from and after both their deceases to the Use and Behoofe of the Heirs of the Body of the said Sarah by the said Henry to be begotten and in default of such Heirs to the Use of the right Heirs of the said Sarah for ever Subject to and Chargeable with the payment of Fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to the Executors admors or assigns of the said Henry Waldens Will in three Months after the decease of the Survivor of them the said Henry Walden and Sarah his Wife By Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due & of Right accustomed and they gave to the Lord for a Fine for such their Estates as appears in the Margin [-] and so they were admitted Tennants had Seizin by the Rod and the said Henry Walden did Fealty to the Lord.
