The General Court Baron of The Right Honorable William Hillier Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor held in and for the said Manor on Thursday the fifteenth day of July in the forty fifth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lady Victoria by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one Before Frederic Ferdinand Smallpeice Gentleman Steward there.

Admittance of James Parker
At this Court upon the second Proclamation came here into Court in his proper person James Parker of Bisley in the County of Surrey Carrier and humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to All that one close of customary arable land containing by estimation One acre more or less now commonly known as “Black Jacks” situate near to Bisley Church and containing by estimation One acre one rood and three perches which said close formerly formed part and parcel of the Copyhold premises described on the Court Rolls of the said Manor as “All that customary messuage or tenement with the Orchard formerly in the tenure of Philip Roberts and one close of land to the same belonging containing by estimation one acre more or less and one acre of land more or less in Neltro with the appurtenances” which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Surrender of Lydia Hone and Henry Clements as presented at the last General Court Baron held in and for this Manor  To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin thereof by the rod  To hold to the said James Parker his heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the yearly apportioned rent of sixpence Heriot when it shall happen suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And so he was admitted tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a fine for such his admittance as appears in the margin [£3] and his fealty was respited.

Heirship of Stephen John Baker
The Homage aforesaid being sworn and charged on their oath do present that Charles Baker whose death was presented at a General Court Baron held in and for this Manor on the sixteenth day of August One thousand eight hundred and seventy six died intestate and that Stephen John Baker is his only son and heir according to the custom of this Manor
Admittance of same
Now at this Court upon the third Proclamation came here into Court the said Stephen John Baker by Mary Ann Whitehorn his Attorney and humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to All those three acres of land whereon a messuage has been erected with the appurtenances formerly part of the waste of the said Manor lying at Hassell Hall between Cowshot and Staveck Lane in Bisley within the said Manor formerly in the tenure or occupation of Robert Goodener his undertenants or assigns since of James Faggetter and John Tyler afterwards of Abraham Groves and late of Charles Boylett with the appurtenances which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Charles Baker  To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin thereof by the Rod  To hold to the said Stephen John Baker his heirs and assigns for ever subject to a Conditional Surrender thereof made by John Baker deceased to William Potterton and dated the eleventh day of June One thousand eight hundred and fifty nine by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of six pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed and so he was by his said Attorney admitted tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his admittance as appears in the margin [£20] and his fealty was respited.
Appointment of Guardian
And because it appears that the said Stephen John Baker is an infant under the age of twenty one years to wit of the age of six years or thereabouts the custody as well of the person as of the estate of the said Stephen John Baker is granted to his mother the said Mary Ann Whitehorn (the Wife of Robert Whitehorn) until the said Infant shall attain the age of twenty one years she the said Mary Ann Whitehorn keeping and observing the custom of the said Manor in all things and rendering an account of the rents and profits of the premises the said Stephen John Baker when he shall attain his age of twenty one years And the said Mary Ann Whitehorn is admitted Guardian accordingly

Absolute Surrender Henry William Richard Westgarth Halsey to Frederick Mellersh and Edward Joseph Halsey
The Homage also present a certain Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court to wit on the second day of December One thousand eight hundred and eighty Whereby Henry William Richard Westgarth Halsey of No. 20 Elvaston Place Queens Gate in the County of Middlesex Esquire one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said manor by the hands and acceptance of Robert Edmund Mellersh Gentleman Deputy Steward for that purpose only and according to the custom of the said Manor All those several parcels of arable and wood ground called Wide Strod and Newlands Burchett And also one grove of wood containing by estimation two acres called Gonwins Grove and one plot of land containing by estimation seven acres in Bisley Wood formerly Martins And also one croft called Newins lying near Ramhurst Heath All which said premises were heretofore said to contain together thirty and three acres little more or less and are situate in Bisley and held of the said Manor but which said lands are now known and distinguished by the several names and contain by admeasurement the quantities following that is to say – Long Mead four acres three roods and eighteen perches – The Five Acres five acres three roods and twenty six perches - The Six Acres seven acres and twenty eight perches – Miles Green five acres and three roods  - The Corner Field two acres three roods and five perches – Oak Field six acres and two perches and The Four Acres five acres one rood and thirty one perches To all which said premises the said Henry William Richard Westgarth Halsey was admitted tenant at a Court held on the sixteenth day of May One thousand eight hundred and fifty To the use of Frederick Mellersh of Godalming in the County of Surrey Banker and Edward Joseph Halsey of Pirbright in the said County of Surrey Esquire their heirs and assigns for ever according to the custom of the said Manor by and under the rents fines heriots suits and services therefore due and of right accustomed but nevertheless Upon and for the trusts intents and purposes and with under and subject to the powers provisoes and declarations expressed and declared or referred unto of or concerning the same Copyhold premises in and by a certain Indenture of Appointment and Settlement dated the second day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty and made between the said Henry William Richard Westgarth Halsey and Henry Joseph Tenison Halsey Esquire of the one part and the said Frederick Mellersh and Edward Joseph Halsey of the other part

Absolute Surrender Nathaniel Cook Junior to Louisa Amelia Wing
The Homage also present a certain Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court to wit on the twenty fifth day of April One thousand eight hundred and eighty one Whereby Nathaniel Cook the younger of The Abbey Mills Chertsey in the County of Surrey  Esquire one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor in consideration of Six hundred pounds to him paid by Louisa Amelia Wing the Wife of Frederick Wing of Hookstone Farm in the Parish of Chobham in the said County of Surrey Farmer out of monies belonging to her for her separate use did Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said manor by the rod by the hands and acceptance of William Chandler and William Eacott two of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor according to the custom of the same Manor All that messuage or tenement with the edifices buildings barn stable garden and orchard thereunto belonging And all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Orchard Field and containing by estimation two acres And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Ford Mead and containing by estimation three acres and a half And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Coneybury Field containing by estimation three acres all which said hereditaments and premises are situate lying and being in the Parish of Bisley within the said Manor and to which the said Nathaniel Cook was admitted at a Special Court Baron held for the said Manor on the twenty ninth day of October One thousand eight hundred and eighty To such Uses and upon and for such trusts intents and purposes and with under and subject to such powers provisoes declarations and agreements as the said Louisa Amelia Wing whether covert or sole by any deed or deeds or by her last Will and Testament or any Codicil or Codicils thereto should from time to time or at any time or times appoint And in default of such appointment and so far as the same should not extend To the Use of the said Louisa Amelia Wing her heirs and assigns for ever according to the custom of the said Manor by and under the suits services rents fines and heriots therefore due and of right accustomed

1st Proclamation on Surrender of Nathaniel Cook the younger
Now at this Court the first proclamation was made for the said Louisa Amelia Wing or any other person or persons who hath or have a right to be admitted to All that the said messuage or tenement with the edifices buildings barn stable garden and orchard thereunto belonging And all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Orchard Field and containing by estimation two acres And all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Ford Mead and containing by estimation three acres and a half And also all that piece or parcel of land called or known by the name of Coneybury Field containing by estimation three acres all which said hereditaments and premises are situate lying and being in the Parish of Bisley within the said Manor which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Surrender of the said Nathaniel Cook to come into Court and take the same out of the hands of the Lord of this Manor but no one came Whereupon the first proclamation and default are inrolled.

Death of Thomas Waterer
The Homage also present that Thomas Waterer late one of the Copyhold or Customary tenants of this manor who held to him and his heirs by copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor  All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement four acres and three roods be the same more or less lying in the Parish and Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey abutting on the highway leading from Guildford to Bagshot on the east and on the freehold land formerly sold by John Knowles and James Stedman to John Deacon on the north and which said piece or parcel of land is part and parcel of premises formerly described on the Court Rolls of the said Manor as “All those Copyhold lands arable meadow and pasture with the appurtenances containing by estimation nineteen acres more or less in the Parish of Bisley” by the yearly rent of One shilling Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs died since the last Court so thereof seized Whereupon a Heriot of the best beast became due to the Lord of this manor but none were seized because the said Thomas Waterer had no live beast at the time of his death

Now at this Court the first Proclamation was made for the heir at law of the said Thomas Waterer or any other person or persons who hath or have a right to be admitted to All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement four acres and three roods be the same more or less lying in the Parish and Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey abutting on the highway leading from Guildford to Bagshot on the east and on the freehold land formerly sold by John Knowles and James Stedman to John Deacon on the north and which said piece or parcel of land is part and parcel of premises formerly described on the Court Rolls of the said Manor as “All those Copyhold lands arable meadow and pasture with the appurtenances containing by estimation nineteen acres more or less in the Parish of Bisley” which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Thomas Waterer to come into Court and take the same out of the hands of the Lord of this Manor but no one came Whereupon the first Proclamation and Default are inrolled.

Death of Thomas Litchford Rawlinson
The Homage also present that Thomas Litchford Rawlinson late one of the Copyhold or Customary tenants of this manor who held to him and his heirs by copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor (subject to a Conditional Surrender thereof to Martha Maria Cook dated the twenty third day of August one thousand eight hundred and seventy six) All that close or parcel of arable land situate at Bisley aforesaid containing by estimation five acres and seven perches more or less formerly in the occupation of Joseph Bedford afterwards of Stephen Steptoe and late of __________ Together with the messuage or tenement and other buildings erected and built thereon by the yearly rent of Four pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs And also all that one close of land called Hunger Hills containing by estimation one acre and a half and four acres of land lying and being in the Common Field called Wide Croft and two acres of land lying in the Common Field called South Earsh and one acre of land lying in the Common Field called Bur Croft And also one mead called Newbridge Mead containing by estimation one acre and an acre and an half in Westburn Mead and half an acre of Meadow in Churchburn Mead by the yearly rent of Two shillings and six pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs And also all that one meadow called Bisley Mead adjoining to Newbridge containing by estimation one acre more or less by the yearly rent of six pence Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs died since the last Court so thereof seized Whereupon three Heriots of the three best beasts became due to the Lord of this manor but none were seized because the said Thomas Litchford Rawlinson had no live beast at the time of his death

Enfranchisement Isaac Gosden
The Homage also present that the Copyhold or Customary hereditaments to which Isaac Gosden was admitted tenant at a General Court Baron on the eleventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and eighty three have been lately enfranchised and are now held freely of this Manor

The Homage also present that the Copyhold or Customary hereditaments to which Mary Turner was admitted tenant at a General Court Baron on the sixteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and seventy six have been lately enfranchised and are now held freely of this Manor
