A Special Court Baron of Abel Walter Esq.r there held the nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & forty six and in the Twentieth year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Second by Henry Walter Gentleman Stew.d there.

At this Court came Samuel Hall Gent. Nephew & Heir at Law of John Hall dece.d and also the Grandson & Heir at Law of Sam.l Hall dece.d Father of the said John Hall and prayed to be admitted To all that one Close of Arable Land formerly two Closes called Westwards lying in the said Mannor of Bisley and containing by Estimation four Acres more or less which came into the hands of the Lord of this Mannor by the death of the said John Hall To whom the Lord by his Steward af.d hath granted the prem.es af.d  To Have and To Hold to the said Samuel Hall his heirs and Assigns by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of this Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due & of right accustomed and he gaveto the Lord as a fine for such his Estate as appears in the Margin [?] & so he was admitted Tennant had Seizin by the Rod and Did Fealty to the Lord

Be it Remembered that on the nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & forty six & in the Twentieth year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Second Samuel Hall of London Gent. & Jane his Wife (which said Samuel Hall is Nephew & Heir of John Hall dec.d & also Grandson & Heir at Law of Samuel Hall father of the said John Hall) came before Henry Walter Steward of there And the said Jane being first solely and secretly examined and consenting thereto did Surrender into the into the hands of the Lord by the acceptance of the said Steward All that one Close of Arable Land formerly two Closes called Westwards lying in the said Mannor of Bisley and containing by Estimation four Acres more or less To the use and Behoofe of William Hippisley of London Gent. his Heirs & Assigns for ever  Provided always & on this Condition nevertheless that if the said Samuel Hall his Heirs Exmors or Admors do & shall Well & truly pay or Cause to be paid to the said William Hippisley his Exors Admors or Assigns the full and just sum of Four Hundred pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain with legal Interest for the same according to the Conditions which will be expressed in a Mortgage Deed of certain Freehold Land in the Mannor of Chobham in the said County of Surry belonging to the said Sam.l Hall the Surrenderer  Then this Surrender to be void & of none Effect or else to be and remain in full force & Virtue  Samuel Hall Jane Hall This Surrender was accepted & taken the day and year aforesaid by Henry Walter Steward.
