Be it remembered that on the twenty eighth day of February One Thousand eight hundred and twenty eight The Lord of this Manor by Joseph Hockley Gentleman Steward of the said Manor Did grant licence to Philip Gyles a Customary Tenant of the said Manor to demise and let unto any Proper person or persons and to his or their executors admors or assigns All or any part or parts of the Copyhold or Customary Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments of him the said Philip Gyles holden by him of this Manor for any Term or Number of Years not exceeding twenty one Years from the twenty fifth day of March now next ensuing Saving nevertheless and reserving to the said Lord of this Manor his heirs and successors Lord or Lords Lady or Ladies of the said Manor All fines Quit rents Services and other duties when and so often as they shall grow due And all ordinary and usual remedies for the sameby seizure distress or otherwise in as large and ample manner to all intents and purposes as if this Licence had not been granted And the said Philip Gyles gave to the Lord as a Fine for this Licence twenty one shillings.
