A Special Court Baron of the Right Honourable George Lord Onslow and Cranley Lord of the said Manor there held for the said Manor on Friday the fifth day of February in the thirty sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c And in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety six Before Joseph Hockley Gentleman Deputy of Joseph Pickstone Gentleman Chief Steward there.

At this Court upon the first Proclamation came into Court in his proper Person John Stilwell of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Yeoman and humbly prayed to be admitted to All that one Messuage or Tenement and Three Closes of Land containing by Estimation Two Acres more or less formerly in the Possession of Henry Hayward and which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Surrender of Richard Freeland at a General Court Baron holden for this Manor on the twenty fourth day of April One thousand seven hundred and Ninety Three To whom the Lord of the said Manor by his said Deputy Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said John Stilwell his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of _________ Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appeared in the Margin [£1 10s] He is Admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.
And immediately after such Admittance came again into Court in his proper Person the said John Stilwell and Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Acceptance of the said Deputy Steward by the Rod according to the Custom of this Manor All that one Messuage or Tenement and three Closes of Land containing by Estimation Two Acres more or less formerly in the Possession of Henry Hayward To the Use and Behoof of James Trigg of Wokeing in the County of Surrey Farmer and of his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the said Manor Whereupon at this Court upon the first Proclamation came into Court in his proper Person the said James Trigg and humbly prayed to be admitted to the said one Messuage and Three Closes of Land with the Appurtenances in pursuance of the said last mentioned Surrender To whom the Lord of the said Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said James Trigg his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance Two pounds and ten shillings only through favour of the Lord He is Admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod but his Fealty is respited.
At this Court upon the second Proclamation came into Court in his proper Person William Eacott of Hill Place in the Parish of Horsell in the County of Surrey Yeoman and humbly prayed to be admitted to All that Messuage in Bisley Green with the Edifices Gardens Orchard and Parcel of Land to the same adjoining containing by Estimation half an acre be the same more or less which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the Surrender of John Collyer as presented at the last General Court Baron holden for this Manor To whom the Lord of the said Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said William Eacott his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appeared in the Margin [£2 4s] He is Admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.
And immediately after such Admittance came again into Court in his Proper Person the said William Eacott and Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Acceptance of the said Deputy by the Rod according to the custom the said Manor All that Messuage in Bisley Green with the Edifices Gardens Orchard and Parcel of Land to the same adjoining containing by Estimation half an acre be the same more or less To the Use and behoof of Joseph Pocock of Bisley aforesaid Husbandman his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the custom the said Manor Whereupon at this Court upon the first Proclamation came into Court in his proper Person the said Joseph Pocock and humbly prayed to be admitted to the Messuage Lands and Premises with the Appurtenances in pursuance of the said last mentioned Surrender To whom the Lord of the said Manor by the said Deputy Steward Granted the same To hold to him the said Joseph Pocock his Heirs and Assigns forever by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the Yearly Rent of Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other Customs and Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed And he gave to the Lord as a Fine for such his Admittance as appears in the Margin [2s] He is Admitted Tenant thereof hath Seizin by the Rod and his Fealty is respited.
And afterwards at this Court came into Court in his proper Person the said Joseph Pocock and Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the Rod and by the Acceptance of the said Deputy Steward according to the custom the said Manor All that Messuage in Bisley Green with the Edifices Gardens Orchard and Parcel of Land by Estimation half an acre to which he had immediately before been admitted To the Use and behoof of such Person or Persons for such Estate or Estates therein and to and for such use or uses as he the said Joseph Pocock shall in and by his last Will and Testament in writing Give Devise Limit or Appoint the same.
