Be it remembered that on the fifth Day of February in the fourteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c And in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four The Lord of this Manor by John Chandler Gentleman Steward of the said Manor Did Grant Licence to Thomas Waterer and Ann his Wife Customary Tenants of the said Manor to demise and let to Henry Collyer of Horsell in the said County Farmer All that copyhold Messuage or Tenement called Edsawes and four Closes of Land by Estimation four Acres and an half with the Buildings Gardens Orchards and Appurtenances thereto belonging within the said Manor for the Term of Fourteen Years from the Twenty ninth Day of September One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four Saving Nevertheless and reserving to the said Lord his Heirs and Successors All Fines Quit Rents Services and other Duties when and as often as they shall grow due and all Ordinary and usual Remedies for the Same by Seizure Distress and otherwise in as large and ample manner to all Intents and Purposes as if this Licence had not been granted.
