At a Special Court Baron of The Right Honorable William Hillier Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor held for the said Manor on Thursday the Third day of December in the Third year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord Edward the Seventh by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland  and of all the British Dominions beyond the Seas King Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three Before Humphrey Percy Smallpeice Gentleman Deputy of Frederic Ferdinand Smallpeice Gentleman Chief Steward there.

Death of Thomas Poulter Harris
At this Court on the first proclamation came here into Court Sarah Fladgate the wife of Walter Fladgate of ______________________ by Ferdinand William Smallpeice her Attorney and informed the said Deputy Steward that Thomas Poulter Harris late one of the copyhold or customary tenants of this Manor who held to him and his heirs by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor All that piece or parcel of land waste of this Manor containing about Eighteen Rods more or less bounded by the garden and field belonging to the Hen and Chickens Public House at Bisley on the East side by a road leading to Mr Lorr’s land on the West and by a road leading from Guildford to Bagshot on the North by a yearly rent of six pence heriot certain one shilling suit of Court and other services and customs therefor formerly due and of right accustomed died some time since so thereof seised whereupon a heriot certain of One shilling became due to the Lord of this Manor

And also at this Court the said Sarah Fladgate came here again into Court and informed the said Deputy Steward that Thomas Fladgate Harris who was the eldest son and heir according to the custom of this Manor of the said Thomas Poulter Harris died on the Fifth day of March One thousand nine hundred and three without having taken admission to the said piece or parcel of land and leaving her the said Sarah Fladgate his only child and heir according to the custom of this Manor.

Admittance of Sarah Fladgate
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came here again into Court the said Sarah Fladgate by her said Attorney and humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to All that the said piece or parcel of land waste of this Manor containing about Eighteen Rods more or less bounded by the garden and field belonging to the Hen and Chickens Public House at Bisley on the East side by a road leading to Mr Lorr’s land on the West and by a road leading from Guildford to Bagshot on the North which came into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor on the death of the said Thomas Poulter Harris To whom the Lord of the manor aforesaid by his Deputy Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seisin thereof by the Rod To hold to the said Sarah Fladgate her heirs and assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of Six pence Heriot certain One shilling Suit of Court and other services and customs therefor formerly due and of right accustomed And so she was by her said Attorney admitted tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a Fine for such her admittance as appears in the margin [Fine on the death of Thomas Poulter Harris 10/-  Do. on death of Thomas Fladgate Harris 10/-] and her fealty was pardoned
