At a Special Court Baron of The Right Honorable Arthur George Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor there held in and for the said Manor on Tuesday the seventh day of December in the sixteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria by the grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two Before Edmund Vincent Gentleman Steward of the Courts of the said Manor.

Death of James Street
At this Court came here into Court in his proper person Henry Street of Bisley in the County of Surrey Farmer and informed the said Steward that James Street late one of the Copyhold or Customary Tenants of the said Manor hath departed this life And the said Henry Street delivered to the said Steward the probate of the last Will and Testament of the said James Street and which said Will bears date the eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and forty seven Whereby he devises as follows “I give and devise unto my son Henry Street and his heirs all that my copyhold Messuage or tenement buildings and garden with the lands there unto belonging containing by estimation six acres or thereabouts called Palmers and Anthonies situate lying and being within and holden of the Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey  To hold the same with their appurtenances unto and to the use of my said son Henry Street his heirs and assigns for ever subject nevertheless to and charged and chargeable with the payment of an annuity yearly rent or sum of five pounds of lawful money of Great Britain hereinafter mentioned and devised to my daughter Louisa the Wife of John Loveland  And I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my said daughter Louisa Loveland and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life one annuity or clear yearly rent or sum of five pounds of lawful money aforesaid free and clear of and from all taxes and deductions whatsoever the said annuity to be charged and chargeable on and issuing out of the said Copyhold hereditaments hereinbefore given and devised to my son Henry Street and to be paid and payable by him my said son Henry Street his heirs executors administrators or assigns by two equal and even half yearly payments (that is to say) on the feast day of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel in every year the first payment thereof to begin and be made on such of the said feast days as shall first happen after my decease  And I do hereby charge and subject the said Copyhold hereditaments above mentioned to and with the payment of the said annuity yearly rent or sum of five pounds accordingly  And I give and grant unto my said daughter Louisa Loveland and her assigns in case of nonpayment of the said annuity all and every the powers and remedies of entry and distress for recovery thereof that Landlords have by Law for recovery of rent in arrear
Admittance of Henry Street
And thereupon the said Henry Street humbly prayed to be admitted Tenant to All that messuage or tenement situate and lying in Bisley Green with the Barn Stable Edifices Orchard and garden thereto belonging and two acres of land called Palmers and Anthonies two acres of land in the common field called Widecroft and one Close of Land called Westwood with the appurtenances Which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of James Street  To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seizin thereof by the rod To hold to the said Henry Street his heirs and assigns for ever by copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of one shilling and sixpence heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs therefore formerly due and of right accustomed Subject nevertheless and Charged and Chargeable as in the Will of the said James Street is mentioned and so he was admitted Tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a fine for such his admittance as appears in the Margin [£39] and his fealty was respited.

Conditional Surrender Henry Street to Joseph Hockley
And also at this Court came here again into Court in his proper person the said Henry Street and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to him paid by Joseph Hockley of Guildford in the said County of Surrey Gentleman Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the rod and by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid according to the custom of the said Manor All that messuage or tenement situate and lying in Bisley Green with the Barn Stable Edifices Orchard and garden thereto belonging and two acres of land called Palmers and Anthonies two acres of land in the common field called Widecroft and one Close of Land called Westwood with the appurtenances to which he had at this Court immediately before been admitted  To the use and behoof of the said Joseph Hockley his heirs and assigns for ever Upon Condition Nevertheless to be void if the said Henry Street his heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Joseph Hockley his executors administrators or assigns the full sum of One hundred pounds together with Interest for the same after the rate of five pounds for One hundred pounds for a year of lawful money aforesaid on the seventh day of June now next ensuing.
[Margin note:  Be it remembered that on the twenty ninth day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine The Honorable George Chapple Norton of Weston Place in the County of Middlesex and Henry Colebrook of Bath Esquire the surviving Executors of Joseph Hockley in this Surrender named did acknowledge that they had been paid and satisfied all principal and interest monies due and owing upon and by virtue of this Surrender And the said George Chapple Norton and Henry Colebrook did by writing under their hands of that date authorize the Steward of this Manor to enter their acknowledgement of having received such Satisfaction on the Court Rolls or Books of the said Manor accordingly.
