At a Special Court Baron of The Right Honorable William Hillier Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor held for the said Manor on Saturday the sixth day of August in the fourth year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord Edward the Seventh by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four Before Humphrey Percy Smallpeice Gentleman Deputy of Frederic Ferdinand Smallpeice Gentleman Chief Steward there.

Death of Richard Loveland 1st Copy
At this Court on the first proclamation came here into Court in his proper person George Loveland of Thorpe in the County of Surrey Gardener and informed the said Deputy Steward that Richard Loveland late one of the copyhold or customary tenants of this Manor who held to him and his assigns for the term of his life by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor All that Cottage Turfhouse and garden thereunto belonging formerly Henry Carters abutting on the Common on the North and East parts and the lands formerly Thomas Mortons West and South situate in the parish of Bisley within the said Manor by the yearly rent of six pence heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs [Margin Note: M.I. extinguished by Mrs C. And also All that copyhold messuage or tenement called or known by the name of Staple Brooks with the barn and all buildings orchard garden yards and one close of Meadow land by estimation Two acres more or less and one acre of arable land by the yearly rent of Two pence halfpenny Heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs
 died some time since so thereof seised [All which said premises are since thrown together and are known as “Staplebrooks” Bisley aforesaid]
Heirship of George Loveland
And also at this Court came here again into Court the said George Loveland and informed the said Deputy Steward that he was the Grandson and heir according to the custom of this Manor of Richard Loveland (the father of the said Richard Loveland) whose Will was presented at a General Court Baron held for this Manor on the twelfth day of June One thousand eight hundred and seventy four.

Admittance of George Loveland
Now at this Court upon the first proclamation came here into Court in his proper person the said George Loveland and humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to All that the said Cottage Turfhouse and garden thereunto belonging formerly Henry Carters abutting on the Common on the North and East parts and the lands formerly Thomas Mortons West and South situate in the parish of Bisley within the said Manor which came into the hands of the Lord of this Manor on the death of the said Richard Loveland (the son) To whom the Lord of the Manor aforesaid by his Deputy Steward aforesaid granted the same and delivered seisin thereof by the Rod To hold to the said George Loveland his heirs and assigns for ever Upon the trusts of and declared by the Said Will of the said Richard Loveland (the father) deceased by Copy of Court Roll at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said Manor by the yearly rent of Sixpence heriot when it shall happen Suit of Court and other services and customs therefor formerly due and of right accustomed And so he was admitted tenant thereof in form aforesaid Gave to the Lord as a fine for such his admittance as appears afterwards and his fealty was respited
