A Court Baron of John Walter Esq.r there held the Fifteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty five and in the Eighth year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Second by me Henry Walter Gent Steward there

Who being sworn & Charged Present as follows & First They present that since the last Court Francis Call died seized of a Messuage and some Land being Copyhold whereupon becometh a Herriot & Fine due to the Lord  They also Present that John Rogers Purchased of Humphrey Field an Estate being Copyhold whereupon becometh a  Fine due to the Lord They also all those who owe Suit & Service and did not appear at this Court be the same and amerce them in Four Pence apiece

At this Court it is presented by the Homage that Humphrey Field one of the Customary Tennants of this Mannor out of Court and since the last Court to wit on the  fourteenth day of April Instant Surrendered in to the Hands of the Lord by the acceptance of George Martin and Moses Evered two other Customary Tennants of the said Mannor All that his Copyhold Messuage or Tenement Gardens Orchards Backsides Edifices & other buildings whatsoever thereto belonging with the Appurts with two Closes of arable Land near adjoyning containing together by estimation six Acres more or less One other piece or parcell of Meadow Land  containing by estimation four Acres more or less and also three Closes more of Arable or Pasture Land lying and abuting in some part on Bisley Green with their and every of their Appurts To the Use and Behoofe of John Rogers of Chobham Yeoman his Heirs & Ass.s for ever And the said John Rogers being now Present in Court desired to be admitted to the Premes aforesaid according to the Surrender aforesaid  To whom the Lord by his Steward aforesaid hath granted the premes aforesaid To have and to hold to the said John Rogers his Heirs & assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed and he gives to the Lord for a Fine for such his Estate in the premes as appears in the Margin [Eight shilling] & he is admitted Tennant has Seizin by the Rod and did Fealty to the Lord.

At this Court came Sarah Call Sister & Heir of Francis Call dec.d late one of the Customary Tennants of this Mannor and prayed to be admitted to all that Messuage Cottage or Customary Tenement with the Appurts together with the Edifices & Buildings Garden Orchard & Curtilage to the same Messuage or Cottage belonging with its Appurts situate lying & being in Bisley within this Mannor abutting on Bisley Green on the South East & North parts w.ch came into the hands of the Lord of the on the death of the said Francis Call her Brother to whom the Lord by his Steward aforesd hath granted the premes aforesaid with the Appurts to have and to hold to the said Sarah Call her Heirs & assigns for ever by Copy of Court Roll at the Will of the Lord according to the Custom of the said Mannor by the Rents Customs & Services therefore formerly due and of right accustomed and she gives to the Lord for a Fine for such her Estate as appears in the Margin [£3 3s] And so she is admitted Tennant has Seizin by the Rod & did Fealty to the Lord.

At this Court came William Fisher one of the Customary Tennants of this Mannor and Surrendered into the Hands of the Lord by the acceptance of the Steward aforesaid the premes Hereafter mentioned which said Surrender is in the words following  Bisley Mannor to wit  Be it remembered that on this fifteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty five William Fisher of Crondall in the County of Southampton Taylor one of the Customary Tennants of this Mannor came before me Henry Walter Gent Steward of the said Mannor and in full and open Court did Surrender and by these presents Doth surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Mannor by the acceptance of the said Steward  All that Mess called Cumbers with the Edifices Gardens  & All Lands to the Mess aforesaid belonging adjoyning by Estim one Acre with the Appurts in Bisley aforesaid  To the Use and Behoofe of  such person and persons & to & for such use and uses Rents Intents & purposes and on such Conditions & Limitations as he the said William Fisher shall and will in & by his last Will & Testament in writing testified by three or more credible Witnesses Limit Direct or Appoint the same  William Fisher taken in open Court by me Henry Walter Steward

At this Court it is presented by the Homage that William[sic] Walden & Elizabeth his Wife a Customary Tennant of this Mannor out of Court & since the last Court to wit on the thirty first day of December last (the said Eliz.th being first solely and secretly Ex.d by the Steward) Surrendered into the Hands of the Lord by the acceptance of the said Steward the premes hereafter mentioned wch said Surrender is in the words following  Bisley in Surry  Be it remembered that this thirty first day of Dec.r in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty four Richard Walden the Younger of Horsell in the County of Surry aforesaid and Elizabeth his Wife a Customary Tennant of the said Mannor of Bisley did out of Court Surrender into the hands of the Lord of the sd Mannor by the Rod & by the hands and  acceptance of Henry Walter Gent Steward of the said Mannor (She the said Elizabeth being by the said Steward first solely and secretly Examined and consenting thereto)   All that Close of Meadow Estate one acre called Bisley mead  To the use and behoofe of William Pigg of Chobham in the County of Surry Yeoman his Heirs & Ass.s for ever Provided always and on the Condition nevertheless that if the said Richard Walden and Elizabeth his Wife or either of them their or either of their Heirs Exors Admors or Ass.s do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said William Pigg his Exors Admors or Ass.s the full and just sum of one Hundred and fifty six pounds & fifteen shillings of lawful money of Great Britain on the thirty first day of December w.ch will be in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty six That then this Surrender shall be void & of none Effect or else shall remain in Full Force & Virtue Richard Walden  Eliz. Walden This Surrender was taken & accepted by me the day and year aforesaid by Henry Walter Steward
