The General Court Baron of The Right Honorable Arthur George Earl of Onslow Lord of the said Manor there held for the said Manor on Thursday the seventh day of June in the twenty ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith and in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and sixty five Before Joseph Hockley Gentleman Steward there.

Edward Chitty Enfranchises
The Homage aforesaid being sworn and charged upon their Oath do present that the customary or Copyhold hereditaments to which Edward Chitty of Box Grove Guildford in the County of Surrey Esquire was admitted tenant at a General Court Baron held for the said Manor on the sixteenth day of May One thousand eight hundred and sixty five have been lately enfranchised and are now held freely of this Manor

Henry Downes Enfranchises
The Homage also present that the customary or Copyhold hereditaments to which Henry Downes of Addlestone near Weybridge in the County of Surrey Farmer was firstly admitted tenant at a General Court Baron held for the said Manor on the thirtieth day of April One thousand eight hundred and forty one together with an allotment awarded to the said Henry Downes in lieu of all his lands grounds rights of Common and other his rights property and interest Copyhold of the said Manor to which he was secondly admitted tenant at a Court held for the said Manor on the said thirtieth day of April One thousand eight hundred and forty one have been lately enfranchised and are now held freely of this Manor

Conditional Surrender John Mose to Hon.ble G C Norton and Joseph Hockley
The Homage also present a certain Surrender taken out of Court and since the last General Court in the words following to wit Manor of Bisley in the County of Surrey  The twenty sixth day of August One thousand eight hundred and sixty five Be it remembered that on the day and year above written John Mose of Bisley in the County of Surrey Blacksmith a  copyhold tenant of the said Manor came before me Thomas Russell Deputy Steward of the said Manor and Did out of Court in consideration of the Sum of One hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to him paid by the Honourable George Chapple Norton of Wilson Place in the County of Middlesex and Joseph Hockley of Guildford in the County of Surrey Gentleman out of monies belonging to them on a joint account at or immediately before the passing the surrender hereinafter expressed the receipt whereof the said John Mose doth hereby and by the receipts hereunder written acknowledge Surrender out of his hands into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by hands and acceptance of me the said Deputy Steward by the rod and according to the custom of the said manor All that messuage or tenement with the Blacksmiths Shop garden and edifices belonging containing One hundred rods or thereabouts with the appurtenances called or Known by the name of Paynes in Bisley aforesaid  To which premises among others the said John Mose was admitted tenant at a Court held for the said Manor on the twenty sixth day of April One thousand eight hundred and thirty one by the description of All that messuage or tenement with the Barn Stable and edifices belonging with the appurtenances called or Known by the name of Paynes And the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders yearly and other rents issues and profits thereof and every part thereof And all the estate right title interest inheritance use trust property possession power claim and demand whatsoever both at law and in equity or otherwise howsoever of him the said John Mose of in to from or out of the said hereditaments and premises and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances  To the use and Behoof of the said George Chapple Norton and Joseph Hockley their heirs and assigns for ever at the Will of the Lord and according to the custom of the said Manor But subject nevertheless to and upon the express condition that if the said John Mose his heirs executors administrators or assigns do and shall on the twenty sixth day of February One thousand eight hundred and sixty six well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said George Chapple Norton and Joseph Hockley or the survivor of them his executors or administrators or his or their assigns the sum of One hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain with interest for the same at and after the rate of Five pounds percent per annum to be computed from the date of this Surrender without any deduction or abatement whatsoever Then this Surrender to be void and of no effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue John Mose Taken the day and year above written by the acceptance of me Thomas Russell Deputy Steward In the presence of Edw.d Cha.s Quilley Received on the day and year first above written of and from the above named George Chapple Norton and Joseph Hockley the sum of One hundred pounds the consideration money above mentioned to be paid by them to me £100 John Mose.  Witness Thomas Russell.
